the ncaa and jr. may well grow with the nhl acting like woke idiots. .. iits already killing their ratings. if people turn their backs on the nhl perhaps jr will see the growth. i live in london and go to knights games but i will no longer even watch a nhl game. they have chased me away just as the nba did. baseball is also in a massive decline..

Really like the CHL coverage. Great initiative. I think that if you focus a bit on the NHL prospects, it would help draw in a wider audience of more casual hockey fans that would otherwise only pay attention to the big league. (also, just generally really like the format and content you offer. Thanks!)

hi! canadian here, although my regional league would be the OHL. a lot of people where i live dont follow the league super closely, but are aware of it. a big part of it is just coverage, people dont know where to watch games online and its not broadcast on tv, so it doesnt get much exposure. the fans of our city OHL team are also fewer than the fans of our city NHL team, so less community around the minor games. Overall i would love to see more CHL coverage, to hopefully fuel the love for them! i do believe their games are super interesting and more people would watch if they knew more about it, so the work you do is super important. love what youre doing with your chanel, cheers

Really appreciate some Mooseheads coverage. Moved to Canada at the age of 12 for two years and watched my first ever ice hockey game at the metro centre (Didn't even know how many periods there were ☺️). 20 years later still a hockey fan but living in New Zealand. It's channel's like yours where I get a lot of my hockey coverage so getting an added dose of Moose nostalgia is great.

I really liked this video! I think having some perspective on your first press experience was nice, but I think focussing on whichever particular game, the players, what NHL teams they've been drafted to, etc. would be best for future videos. What I think would also be cool would be talking a bit about what the Mooseheads players do for the community - for instance, when I was growing up, the Kelowna Rockets came to elementary schools every year to read to kids and play hockey at lunch hour, they do community skate every year, stuff like that. I think that component of a hockey player's emotional development is becoming increasingly more important with social media and the pedestals that young kids put these guys are.

I'm over here in Washington State; Eck, if you talk about ***any*** hockey stuff, I'll listen because it's you. That said, you talking about this opened a definite interest in CHL hockey, and in fact with visiting Halifax at some point to see a game and see the city. It just looks like so much fun to just be in city, let alone getting hockey on top of that. So I'm definitely into hearing more about the Mooseheads and what's going on with them.

I love this idea. As someone from the states who knows nothing about the chl, it’s really cool to learn about it from someone who knows so much about it and has grown up with it. I think the only comment I have on it is I would like more background information on the chl teams and cultures, like if there are any rivalries, etc. I understand if you can’t due to viewer retention but I would find that really cool. Keep up the good work!

I’m down in St. Louis where we have the Blues, but for a number of years we had a team, the Missouri River Otters, in the, now defunct, UHL. During my college years attending college hockey and Otters games were an every weekend activity because they were affordable on a college student budget. The thing was, the more I attended the more I fell in love with all minor league sports. The games almost always have a better atmosphere than the major leagues and are far more family friendly. I’m now in my mid-40s and I still can’t afford to attend more than 1-2 Blues games a season and I really miss the joy that came with minor league hockey in my hometown.

Hi Elk, I follow you on this channel since oct 7 2022 (Your video: WTF the NHL doing?) Since then I didn’t miss any of your videos, always left a LIKE, and this is my first comment. I first enjoyed how much content you gave us in a short 1-3 minutes video. That’s why I subscribed from the start !! What I appreciate about your content is: -the perspective you gave us on any topic you develop is always interesting. I enjoy listening to your point of view. -your deep and strong knowledge of the game (Anyone can easily acknowledge that you LOVE THE SPORT OF Hockey, and not only NHL hockey). -your series of videos on the Junior World Championship, make me follow the event closer than ever. Your passion of the game is contagious , I can testify my friend. What I appreciate about you is: -Whenever you give your opinion, your humility have a way to make it sound like ; it’s not an absolute and anyone who thinks different from you is not stupid. On the technical level here’s what I think : - Your audio is excellent! - Your pace and tone is captivating! - The format “short and sweet” is what hooked me up. - And in your longer video (more than 3 minutes), the fact that you annonce right at the beginning of the video the “time stamp” of different points of content is a great option you give your audience. (Even if I personally never skip a part. ) I’m happy for you with the opportunity of the press gallery!! Thank you sir for all the time and effort you put in your work!! It’s really appreciate!! I’m glad I discovered your channel buddy !! Keep it up !!! I wish your Mooseheads and Rangers a great end of season and a good playoff run ! - From a Bruins fan from south shore of Montreal (Yep it’s possible!! Risky, but possible…)

I loved this video. I have been to Halifax and loved it and would love to go to a Moosehead's game, plus I always enjoy hearing about what is happening in the leagues below the NHL. I have not been to a game in the QMJHL, but that is high on my bucket list as is going to a game in the WHL. I have been to games in the OHL, NHL, ECHL, AHL, NAHL, some junior games in Vancouver and started my love of hockey in the old WHL with the San Diego Gulls when the Canucks and Portland Buckeroos were the teams to beat. One of my bucket list items would be to go to games in Europe. Go Mooseheads!

Great content. I used to go to as many Red Deer Rebels games as possible, back in the college aged years. Me and a buddy would just go to the foyer of the Centrium and without fail someone would see us poor looking college kids and give us spare tickets that they had on hand. Its a tragic shame how much it costs now, i think its north of $25 to get in, which is a bit much. I don't need the flash and dazzle, the jumbotron or whatever else, just give me the junior hockey. Any ways, back when I was going was when the Rebels were a wagon, Phaneuf, Colby Armstrong, Martin Erat, Just Mapletoft, Jim Vandermeer...wow what a team!

Hey buddy, congrats I love that you got the press pass! I really enjoy your videos, the breakdowns of games/events in the NHL have been really awesome to watch and look forward to. As for Mooseheads content, I enjoyed the Minutes in this video but would say that as someone who doesn't particularly follow any specific Q teams I would be interested in hearing more about story lines such as which teams in the Q/CHL are contending for their championship/have the best shot at making the Memorial Cup, which players are standing out in the league and which rookies are making headway. The specifics of the Mooseheads games is entertaining and for your own sake I think you should definitely put your all into it, I just follow the WHL more (I'm from Victoria) so just my two cents.

Hi! Things that are interesting about this rink! (Played in there on Tuesday following world jr's) 1. The glass and boards are 'dead'. No bounce from them, which keeps the puck in the zone. You can hear the glass- it has a lower pitch clunk. 2. There is rubber on top of the boards. The boards and players bench have a rubber on the top. It kind of grabs you as you get checked. 3. The seats are dark blue. When the puck goes up in the air it is quite difficult to find as a camouflages with the background. Maybe it's different with fans? There were zero people in the seats when I played in there. Zero. Less than zero. 4. The players benches move!! Both players benches have like 6 inches of travel forward and backward. It's surprising! And been like that for a long time. It must not bother the players🤷‍♂️ Eck!! Let me know if you want me to get you in there to play some pick up hockey.!
