We loved our Model Y. I did buy a shade for the glass roof. It helped tremendously. Ours was the long range. We sold it and bought an S Plaid. It has four modes ... Chill, Sport, Plaid, and Insane. My wife keeps it in Sport mode and I keep my settings on Plaid mode. This car will never see the Insane mode. It is already ballistic enough in Plaid mode. We put 55,000 miles on the Model Y. Tesla offered us $26K and I advertised on FB Marketplace and sold it for $33K to a wholesaler out of Texas within an hour. I love that blue color and I know you will have a blast with the performance version. Congratulations.

Surprisingly I have never felt heat coming in from the stock roof. It is very heavily tinted. Yep I am very happy with the way things worked out.

Congrats. I am stuck with my first and only 2018 M3 rear wheel drive. I had to punch way over my weight to get my Tesla.

On the bright side there are tons of upgrades and after market products you can get, plus your car has some things like the passenger lumbar support and USB data to all the ports in the car. I think Tesla even does an auto-lift gate for older model 3s now so you can have that retrofitted.

Yea I did a bunch of "mods" on my M3. I haven't felt the need to do anything all that significant on my Model Y's.

Tesla self driving cars - one of these things runs someone down and the damages Tesla should be liable for (and paying) should be eye watering even for them.

@@Duf Maybe, but human error while all due diligence was being observed is one thing, but automation is quite another, nothing but a perfect record is going to be acceptable and that just isn't going to happen.
