20:15 Yes, you unfortunately cheesed the whole second part of my level. Basically the cheese is that you're not supposed to get the cat- and hammersuit when you came out of the pipe. Normally you should get it way later. The thing is it's a really old level, I think my third one. So I didn't have much experience when I made this and somehow I didn't realize you can activate the pow by jumping against the blocks from below..

1:00 The sheer bafflement of Panga is so funny. It’s like someone who doesn’t play Kaizo levels regularly created this level and a professional Kaizo player just melts on the precipice of the first jump.

I agree he can such a whiner sometimes because the kazo isk lvl is too hard for him or he couldn’t figure out the pattern or tech.

@@dragonblazer9116 ever thought that maybe he has a certain expectation of how kazio levels should be? Like, he does complain about levels a lot, but the ones that have potential, he actually gives feedback on the levels

He complains about poor level design, which is understandable. As in, the trick becomes difficult because you get no indication about how you are supposed to do it and no consistent way of making a jump or an interaction work. In a run with limited lives, you end up losing lots of them to the level being unreliable with its mechanics. Also, all the bedazzling when you are trying to figure out what you are supposed to do and what the indicators mean is indeed distracting. @@dragonblazer9116

The ice part of the Famicom level is definitely Ice Climber, complete with the condor flying at the very top. Cool level!

29:54 you didn't need to keep the fireflower with the bob-omb. you were supposed to do the right side red coin last. you get a springboard with the yoshi, then you can use that to reach the ledge with the fireflower

Have you ever tried doing the Expert 1 life challenge in SMM1? Ryukahr has been attempting it for something like a year now and hasn't gotten it yet. He's gotten really close though, I think to stage 14. It's a pretty tough challenge.
