@@innocentzbat There's two English versions, the one with the explicit lyrics and the censored one that will be used in the game, the censored one as the Sonic Frontiers logo slapped on the cover.

​@@tjz3158 the album first. The song just happens to be a tie-in with frontiers. (With some censorship of course to take out any f bombs or references to sex.)

The fucked up thing is that people think that the song was made specifically for the game, while it actually wasn't. It's kind of a golden standard for Sonic games to make their own soundtracks for their games in all aspects, meanwhile, this game did the hated corporate thing of licensing a song instead of making something new. (so yeah, kinda cringe)

It also seems to talk of someone being gone, like death, and the singer is lost without them, even though they betrayed them. Sounds like someone will die… it also might be the main cast too. SAGE seems to always to be at odds with sonic, and the goust girl has been shown that it is ether amy or SAGE, and what I just said contradicts the SAGE possibility. We know more known characters are probably going to be here, but who will betray sonic and die, leaving sonic lost? Who would? We know sonic is being warned off, so maybe someone wanted to stop him, if so, I think silver maybe be on the table, since if what Sonics doing is indangering the world, then he would try to stop him. And if anyone does die, it’s seems perminate… since this is the ending and they wouldn’t have him grieving over a revived friend… this could be a perminate death.

@@leonardoalvarenga7572 Spinball was not a mainline Sonic title. It was a stopgap in between Sonic 2 and Sonic 3. Also, it only had 6 months of development time, and it definitely shows, especially when it comes to some of the music choices/decisions.

This song is still fire best Sonic ending theme song in years and it's not even the main theme can't wait to hear the main theme song. SEGA and Sonic Team are really going all out with Sonic Frontiers.

Well, the explicit version does drop multiple F bombs so he's not entirely wrong lol.

The explicit version says "F the pain away my bed is in ruins". The changed the lyrics for the censored version to "Fight the pain away my head is in ruins"
