It seems that the guy tried to scam you??? His face and motorbike number plate were recorded, so you can report the case to police. In Vietnam, such crime is no way tolerated. Police will be on your side, arresting the guy immediately. Hope you enjoy your time in our country. Can’t wait to see more of your videos. Keep up with your great job, bro. I am Vietnamese. I have seen serious problems since 6:02 . Coffee shops in Vietnam will never run out of coffee. Maybe he's trying to gain your trust the first two times.But actually I'm not sure what that man's purpose was. Vigilance is never redundant

Now I am worried for your safety because you should've spotted that man as a at least a scammer or worse a criminal who was targetting you right from the start. Despite that you seem to question yourself whether you ran from a man in need. I think you were seconds away from being victimized, so glad you took off from there. TRUST NO ONE, and BE AWARE OF ANYTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY.

If you left your bike, which is what he was trying to make you do, there's a good chance he may have ridden off with it and all your stuff including all your valuable gadgets. This is why he only turned your engine off and did not take the key. If he wanted to ride off with your bike reinserting the key would have taken valuable seconds and enough for you to challenge him. He probably had the key to his own bike in his pocket for which he could have come back later to collect after you decided to walk sufficiently far away. The first red flag was probably when he was repeatedly trying to make you stop at various places.

Great ride mountains, rice fields and lovely beach with lots of fishing boats. You are a friendly person enjoying your rides. Regarding the incident - meeting a person who looked friendly but his actions in the hills looked fishy ( I was scared when he put his hand at backside). all said & done you made the right decision. Việt Nam là một trong những địa điểm du lịch an toàn nhất thế giới đối với du khách quốc tế. Tuy rằng, những việc xấu như vậy không phải là việc phổ biến hoặc thường thấy ở nơi công cộng trên đất nước chúng tôi. Nhưng, rõ ràng là người đàn ông trong video này có biểu hiện rất đáng ngờ của một kẻ lừa đảo hoặc cướp giật. Vì vậy, việc bạn cảnh giác với một người đàn ông xa lạ nhưng có biểu hiện khác thường với bạn ở nơi vắng vẻ như vậy là rất hợp lý và vô cùng sáng suốt.
