Shigaraki's insane hate was the only thing keeping AFO in check and stopping from possessing Shigaraki like it's a conjuring movie. Now with Deku crushing Shigaraki's hate and turning him back into Tenko, AFO has full control. Here's hoping that Shigaraki gives Deku all the quirks back alongside Decay. 1. Shigaraki's quirk being used to finish off AFO. 2. That's your way of getting through Regen.

I gotta say that first paragraph That makes sense Felt like a misunderstanding moment like imagine Tenko shigaraki coming down on his hateful emotions but then suddenly an ambush or surprise attack by AFO he got him well shigaraki was almost calming down with the hate. Dang almost ruined the moment right there.

I think by the time all is said and done, Deku will end up with both All For One and One For All. Deku still has One For All right now, because Yuichi's Quirk Transference was the only way to give quirks to Shigaraki in order to break through to Tenko in the first place. Yuichi's One For All is both the Transference and Power Stockpiling as one quirk, plus all the power the previous holders added to it is still there. The thing is Deku, along with all the previous holders of One For All has a very very strong unbreakable will that allowed him to master this quirk that would have killed anyone else. I predict Yuichi will have Deku give One For All to Tenko, let it merge with the All For One quirk factor, then Tenko only has to be in control for long enough to give One For All back to Deku, complete with All For One. Deku's indomitable willpower will become All For One's new prison, and Deku himself will put the All For One quirk to good use to not only return the stockpiled quirks the villain collected to any of the previous owners still alive to claim them. Then Deku will use AFO's power to save people who need saving from their own quirks, people like Tenko. Quirk Singularity Doomsday is still a very real danger and no hero alive can do anything for this shared threat. The All For One power in the hands of a hero with an unbreakable will is the only solution to this crisis, because it can take unstable and dangerous quirks and contain them while saving the original owner who would have otherwise died or worse. Having All For One the quirk factor merged with One For All means the power can be passed on to a worthy successor and keep the world safe for generations to come.

Folks seem to forget that AOF gave up his original quirk and kept the copy. I always thought it was a strategic part of his plan to gain control at some point because of the vestige world aspect.

I think most of us forgot about AFO's vestiage because it had been so long since he was relevant, but given we don't know how/if it was even possible to 'kill' a quirk vestiage but retain the quirk, [and if it is THEN I'll accept that Decay isn't Tenko's original quirk, because all this time and no vestiage.... speaks volumes] we should have at least considered this could happen, especially with the real AFO dead.

I guess many people are angry because vShigaraki was at least and interesting antagonist who actually got results. AFO hasn't done anything except kill Stein and ha sbeen getting the run around by a bunch of kids. AFO has tlaked smack the entire manga and he's been getting spanked his entire war arc. In short, he's disappointing. And to see him come back only means we're in for more mid.

I like the idea of Shigaraki wanting to be a hero for the villains, his friends. All Might was a hero to other heroes and civilians, and there hasn't really been a positive hero for villains other than maybe some who attached to Stain's ideal. I think a redeemed Tenko becoming a villain's hero in the right way would mean filling shoes that Almight couldn't: Redeeming villains into heroes like Deku tries to do. But doing it from their point of understanding.

In the real world, Deku and Shigaraki separate. Both are exhausted, but AFO is now in control of Shiggy. Deku tries to activate OFA, but he's too weak. Deku collapses to his knees completely exhausted. AFO approaches, applauds Deku for all this wasted effort, and reaches out to finally claim the quirk he's coveted since he gave it to his brother. At the last moment, space itself rips open as Blast from One Punch Man steps through, then obliterates AFO with a single punch. "Dad!" shouts Deku in disbelief, before Blast again vanishes into a rip in space.

I knew AFO was coming back. Him using the Time reversal quirk without having full control was too simple. He plans ahead way too much. Him having a dormant consciousness inside Shigaraki is so like him and was put in very well in my opinion. He was literally waiting for Shigaraki to drop his guard so he can control him. Now he has a younger body. Perfectly in its prime with all the quirks he’ll ever need to become a God.

Deku’s choice had to be made. Shigaraki with all that power and hate had become unstoppable. Now that AFO is in control, he will make mistakes because he doesn’t want to destroy everything thus preserving a world he can rule and he has an ego that will lead to mistakes.

Narratively and thematically Shigaraki is so much more integral to the story than AFO that he can straight up be considered as a deuteragonist, who directly parallels and mirrors the main protagonist of the story which is Deku, the same can't be said when it comes to AFO

I was hoping for such a twist. Tomura never felt like a truly main villain for me. Only like a puppet that was manipulated his whole life. He would be a different man if it wasnt for AFO. So his return as the main villain was the best thing the mangaka could do, imo.

from what i looks like i feel like all of the OFA vestiges with deku’s help will overwhelm AFO in the end (no easy feat of course) but with AFO’s defeat also comes the final spiritual breath of the past users of OFA, thus making deku restart the chain of user in OFA making him the first user of it in a sense. and i don’t mean that in the way that he is the first like Yoichi i mean it as him being the sole user of OFA with the vestiges gone and him resetting that line of vestiges and i think that would actually be so cool! He could essentially start passing on a new version of OFA that he cultivates and renews himself with all the knowledge of the past users if he ever finds a proper and willing vessel he could entrust the power to

I think it's an opening Here me out. As we can see that no one( whole world) will able to forgive shigaraki expect deku but if everyone sees that AFO is controlling shigaraki that might be a possibility that they both combine there forces and try to defeat AFO shiggy and OFA from inside and deku from outside. It may be a deadly combo and with the help of main character plot twist they won and AFO able to talk his brother and finally able to understand his mistake and Nana able to apologize shigaraki for not able to be there. DON'T FORGET 1) Deku lost his arm in shiggy's memory it may be possible that he lost his arms in real life so eri should be able to help him. 2) aizawa and mic is missing since kurogiri is released. 3) there might be another possibility that aizawa able to convince kurogiri that he is oboro there friend and they take eri with them and teleport to battle field with the help of eri quirk they able to turn shigaraki into a kid before even AFO meet him. And maybe after all might take custody of shiggy. and no one will blame anything to shiggy cause he is just a kid and with the guidance of all might he may become a pro hero and might be the next user of OFA.

I've believed for a long time it would come down to the original AFO through some backdoor fuckery in Shigaraki vs Deku. All For One is too good of a villain to have just been killed off from a time reversal and this is just setting up a fight equivalent of the ending of the throne room sequence of Return of the Jedi. In fact, the concept with the vestiges helping Deku reminds me of a lot of the original plot elements of the first draft of ROTJ where Obi-Wan is able to somehow come back from the nether realm of the force and assisted Luke against the Emperor, and Vader basically came out of nowhere and Palps went into the lava of his underground throne room. Shigaraki is going to come back and help the OFA vestiges defeat the dark lord. I'd wager we're probably within 12-20 chapters before this is finished.

Theory: the vestiges will revolt against AFO and Decay in the same way New Order did. This will sacrifice the vestiges and their quirks and in return put an end to AFO once and for all while also leaving shigiraki quirkless and ready for hero rehab

In a way this kind of plot twist happening in my hero academia can really be looked at as the true final fight, since we know that technically the power of all for one works the same way as one for all where it does have a vestige of the previous person. So it makes sense that all for one would technically still be alive within tenko, which it makes sense since he has the original work inside of him. However I also believe to that the memories we saw from both tenko and izuku‘s point of view showed, which we are led to believe that this could be all for one, and we know that Horikoshi sensei loves Star Wars and makes references so much, that this could be the biggest plot twist of all that in reality it could be izuku’s father and that he is All for one.

I want it to be revealed that Deku's dad has been working for AFO this entire time just so he has to deal with extra family drama even after beating Shigaraki and AFO.

I don’t think you know how amazing this timing is. All for One returns and becomes powerful. Sukuna is running out of people to kill. So are we finally getting a cross over to finish both series? Sukuna vs All for One: Endgame.

The way AFO controlled Tenko’s life is really messed up it resembles Aizen and the doctor from Tokyo ghoul who made hybrids wether they consented or not. Also the only way I see Deku making a comeback is through Eri’s quirk he might even regain his lost quirks. And also it kinda sucks you know Nana put so much effort into hiding her son so he could live a norm life and so AFO couldn’t harm him but it was all in vain not only did AFO find him he brainwashed Kotaro digging the knife into the wound with his traumas also encouraging that messed up parenting now Nanas grandson being his puppet/new vessel. I think Nana should’ve stayed with her son till her end and leave him with grand Torino and all might then when they went overseas Torino would have kotaro live in America so he could be out of AFO reach.

AFO always put a bit of himselfninto the quirks he gave away. Which means it would be in OFA. It has been a part of it since it's conception. Now the other vestiges aren't there to gaurd the door.

THIS IS GOOD. All for one was always a more convincing villain than shigaraki and has always been the big bad villain from the villain. Hopefully he does something big.

Shigaraki is blatantly so much better written as an antagonist/as a character Being better written as a character>merely doing a good job at playing the role of an evil villain

@@realistchristian Not mandatory, that sounds way too superficial, not that it won't work, I prefer having a villain that is nuanced and thematically rich, I'd pick those over mustache twirling villains anytime

@@leeleelee7878 i would rather an evil mastermind that feels villanious and grand and established to be the greatest evil than a character who we know is gonna get saved/talk no jutsu and overall a puppet.

@@realistchristian That is generic and absolutely surface level sounding, no depth, no complexity (which is optional), no nuances, no thematic richness, nothing. A villain that parallels and contrasts the protagonist thematically in a compelling way>>>>>generic muahaha mustache twirling villain every time. Having a villain with concrete character arc will always be better than a generic Keikaku merchant with no depth, that's like one of the most boring villain archetypes ever. I need good writing and depiction, not superficial and surface level "entertainment"

Ok my own dumb ass theory, when afo comes back in Tenkos mind he also brings in the last of stars rebellion releasing the vestiges. This time though they relive their battles with AFO but with Deku backwards in order defeating him in the mind space instead of dying.

It makes sense that OFA's vestiges is inside Shigaraki sense the true OFA quirk was transplanted into Shigaraki, even better that it is potato head OFA because it was transplanted before he used faux rewind. I believe that AFO planned for this knowing he couldn't break Shigaraki's will, planned for Deku to try and break the barriers for him, laying dormant in Shigaraki's mind until thebright moment he could take over his body. I don't think he can access the other quirks from OFA because they weren't stolen, but they will rebel against his vestige on the mental battlefront while deku battles him physically

I saw All For One's return, actually. Honestly, a man like AFO - who is basically the Emperor of My Hero Academia - probably has hundreds of plans to come back. Heck, he probably has a clone hidden away somewhere just for a chance to return. And now, we can finally see the ultimate battle we have all been waiting for - Tomura Shigaraki and Izuku Midoriya vs All For One. And it gets better - they get the back up of all of the original eight One For All holders. This is going to be insane!

Wow, what a crazy chapter!!!!! I wouldn't be surprised if to make things (look) worse, Horikoshi has us readers see (in the next few chapters - if not the next chapter) both Deku and All Might unconscious in the real world, while all of this is going on in the vestige world. (This would be because both their souls are currently in the vestige world.) Meanwhile AFS (Shiggy) starts speaking *with AFO VOICE!!!!!*

My problem with my hero at the moment and has been a problem ive had with it for awhile is that this war doesnt seem possible to win. The heores have not had much of a chance at winning since Shikaraki was too strong and deku pulled something out of nowhere. Now all for one is back and deku is weaker and might not have arms im not sure if thats temporary or not.
