Have you guys thought about putting a trail camera on Mrs. Lewis' nest? That way you could at least find out how many eggs she has, even if you guys don't manage to catch her when she's off the nest.

My goodness, Jason! You go from one major farm task to another! That trenching and laying pipe on one day--wow!! And Rocky and Bandit slept through it all! I wonder what Peaches would say if she knew they were goofing off! 😊 And Nugget deserves his shower on such a hot day, and Flashdance is funny! Hey, Brooke! I hope you are feeling better! Hey Jason! One year my cousin grew sunflowers in with his corn. I asked him what made him think of that. Being a simple man, he said "well, these sunflowers are about the same size as the seed corn. I wonder what that would look like, so I threw a handful in the seeder." It was the most beautiful cornfield I ever saw in my life! ❤

I have seen a lot of homesteads and farms with animals on youtube, and I must say, Cog Hill Farm animals are second only to Ms. Judy's place animals in regard to friendliness. I love the touches you give not only to Holly and the boys, but also to Tuck, Pink, Mildred, and Moodie...and the goats...and Jason has a fair to middlin relationship with the Mac and Cheese chickens. Jessie and Peach get more than enough love....the love wins the day! Miracles are possible...such as with Rocky and Bramble and the other amazing rescues.

I appreciate that y’all don’t just shoot a bunch of b roll in the morning to piece together in the video at the end of the day- I can tell that’s evening light and it’s consistent with the story you’re telling. From a fellow video editor these small details make y’all’s (Mrs Cog Hills channel too) videos that much more likeable and enjoyable.
