Ahh, I disagree... I think he went to the dark side, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to do everything he did. I think the point is that the dark side and the light side are states that you can put yourself in or out of, according to your free will. But I agree that he wasn't the greatest representative of the dark side, because he changed sides at the end...

@@ForceInsights Anakin Skywalker was never about the Sith code , Sith Lifestyle & Sith ideology to a T at all ⛔️. The man was a family man , caring & good guy with a big heart who cared about his loved ones no more & no less bro ✅. If your Truly about the Sith life like Darth Bane , palpatine etc then you would have no regrets , no remorse & no mercy for your actions because it’s the life you truly live. Anakin became vader due to him being pushed into the role not over his own free choice because that guy is really not like that in my opinion.

On this point I agree with you... I think he was introduced to the dark side like all the avatars, which is what he represented as the chosen one, but he ended up giving in... In spirituality we have the temptations of Jesus in the desert, Mara tempting Buddha before his enlightenment, etc... For me, Lord Lucas used these metaphors in the construction of Anakin.
