They are characters if they lose themselves in their own ego. They use their power, gained with an incredible ability to manipulate the Force and personal power, but for egoistic goals. Egoic goals are not even the problem, this must be sought at some level, the problem is getting lost in it, causing problems for others. The more I talk to those who are in tune with the Sith code, and who are clearly well-intentioned like you, the more I notice a gap in understanding the dark side, at least as presented by George Lucas. I think your vibe is not following rules, going against the system, dogmas, in short, rebellion. I identify with this, I am like that too, but what Lucas presents about the dark side is not that. It's about using the Force for your own interest and without caring about the consequences like Qimir's story. Anyway, it's a very deep and complex subject...

In this kind of universe, where beings need a survival instinct and are subject to the 7 deadly sins, for example, it's too big a problem to ignore the dark side, it will suffer too much. Studying, deepening and mastering the dark side is fundamental to self-mastery. The problem is that you are afraid of or averse to this side and this diminishes your strength in this internal battle, as the code itself says.

I think you didn't understand the content of the channel. The Force is part of a work of Fiction (!), this is obvious, but Lucas' intention was to use it as a METAPHOR for what various aspects of spirituality call cosmic energy, universal fluid, prana, Ki, Chi, Brahman , God, or even quantum vacuum for physicists. I show this in previous videos. This is OBVIOUS, because George Lucas uses the same definition. Now, if you are an atheist and don't believe everything I just mentioned, that's fine, and that's realy fine. Many SW fans are atheists, I know several myself, but the objective of this channel is, like Lucas, to use the METAPHOR of Force and the affection we all have for SW, to help people align with their own energy, philosophical values , regain a path of balance, etc. The objective of this channel is to be a space for people who, like me, noticed this connection between spirituality and the Force made by Lucas. I think that the fact that the Dark Side and basic human instincts are part of nature does not make them beneficial, nor necessarily harmful, depending on how they are used. Example: our basic instincts help us survive, but when unbalanced, they lead us to the 7 deadly sins and destabilize our lives, cause illnesses, conflicts, etc. For an individual to be seduced by the Dark Side is to enter a destructive mental/emotional cycle, generating problems for themselves and others. In the case of Palpatine, for example, infinite power, greed. Regarding religious fanaticism that uses the narrative of guardians of the Light and tries to subject everyone to their will, I agree with you. These people may be more immersed in what we call evil than many who are coming out on this side. Do you think Palpatine, Vader or Maul really wanted to be left alone? There are many who consider themselves Sith and rebels to the Order and rightly so, in my opinion, but I don't think these are the cases of the main Sith presented by Lucas. I think the Gray Jedi fit your description better.
