I've only tried Crumble cookies one time. I thought they were beautiful but lacked the flavor I had hoped for. I do not feel they are worth the cost, they should taste great too.

I got 6 from my local crumbl in Atlanta. It was kind of a pricey splurge--but I tell you what, we cut into them and eat them a bit at a time, and we liked all the ones we got. We don't eat one or two at a sitting, we use this low-tech 'dull kitchen knife' thing to cut them up...

It's Mother's Circus Lion cookie! I loved those growing up. The plain Barnum ones were fun since they came inside a circus train box.

Wouldn’t spend a dime at that place. What I would give to have a Mrs. Fields cookie shop back in Minnesota. 😂 This was my favorite place to go too in the mall as a child in the 80s.

This place is waaaaay over rated.

The problem is that no one makes anything homemade anymore so mediocre cookies with cheap ingredients sell for $$$$ because of presentation.

I had never heard of this establishment until a few days ago, so it's great timing you posted this video today! The lady who told me about it had this to say about the one that opened up in our town: there was big hype and excitement when it opened, but after people actually tasted the cookies, the hype died down immediately. I guess that's why I didn't know about it!

I've never had a bad Crumbl cookie.

Crumbl seems to be popping up everywhere in San Diego over the last year. I’ve been mostly buying 2/week since late summer. I’ve avoided the sugar cookies. This past week I had the chocolate cake and the butter cookies. I liked them both. I tend to eat a bite or two over the course of the week. But lately I haven’t been finishing them. My favorites are the chocolate chip, any peanut butter ones, and French Silk. TBH I think that cookie cutter is a waste of money. I’d just use a regular knife, even a butter knife. But if you like your cookies in perfect quarters then yeah. I couldn’t be bothered. This week I’m trying a new cookie place that is starting to gain a little traction in Southern California - Cookie Plug. The only thing about their cookies is they’re best warmed up. When they box them they’re not warm but they do offer to warm them. Since they had a special I got 8 for $22 I opted to warm the ones I’m going to eat at home. The rest I put in the freezer after I quartered them. Good for a month. I haven’t made up my mind about whether I like them enough to go back.

We just recently had a store open up here in Lynchburg, Virginia close to where we live. We went the week of Valentines Day and got the cookies of the week. We thought the cookies tasted good, but we experienced the same as you and thought the cookies almost were wet and not cooked enough. We thought the price of the cookies were high. We can say we have been here but don't know how often we will stop by this place. I like the selections you had in your box. Thanks for sharing your experience. Have a great day!

My favorites are the lemon cheesecake and yes “ the pink cookie”. It is a Vanilla and Almond cookie with Almond flavoring for the frosting

I read that the Classic Pink Sugar Cookie was discontinued in most areas because it wasn't popular. Its made with sweet almond flavoring for the top. They are known for "soft" and that undercooked cake-y texture so if you don't like that , don't go to Crumbl. I had a few good ones there, but only tried it once here in Arizona. Thanks for the video!

Thanks for another great review. There’s a few opening soon near me in the northeast, but I won’t be in a huge hurry thanks to your review and others that I have read. I would rather patronize a good local bakery instead anyway.

My favorite cookie is a Keebler pecan Sandie in the 70s and 80s I used to put them in the refrigerator. It was my favorite cookie when I was in the United States Air Force that would be my go to snack. I would only have time to eat one or two, so I couldn’t truly indulge.

Our favorite was the Kentucky Butter.

My favorite cookie is Raspberry Cheesecake cookie. I wonder if they have. The cookies look delicious and nice to get a cookie cutter. Looks like a bear on the sugar cookie. I would love to visit Crumbl cookies. Nice video Derek and Catherine. See you next time. ❤👍

Thanks for the heads up on this! We just got one in our town and I was thinking of going there when I cheat on my diet. However even though I like my steaks medium rare I like my cookies medium well to well baked. So for your not baked enough review that alone will stop me from going there. (But I might go get their cutter since I limit the amount of sweet stuff I consume!)

Hi you two. I like the fact that you didn’t hold back on your thoughts about the cookies. That being said, I’ve never tried Crumbl cookies so I have nothing to base my opinion on other than both of your opinions, which by the way coincide with my own in the past. Usually I would go straight for chocolate and more chocolate, not this time though, I love banana so I believe that’s the one I would pick. Truthfully, none of those cookies seem exceptionally appetizing. Great video.

That cookie animal might be an embryonic hippo.I didn't even realize that they opened a Crumbl Cookie store just a couple of miles from where I live.

Not sure that cookie cutter is worth buying for $5 when knives exist in most people's kitchens. Most of their cookies are mid at best with a few rare exceptions.

What did you guys mean by under-baked? Did it taste raw? Or do you guys not like soft cookies? I don't like well done cookies. I prefer a cookie to be mostly soft in the middle. Thanks for doing this review, I'm never going to this overhyped cookie store.

They all look like fails😂😂 If you want a sugary treat, you could go to Krispy Kreme and get a dozen assorted donuts for 10 dollars with similar themes as your cookies, and it would actually be good! 😂 A dozen delicious donuts for 10 dollars vs 6 below average tasting cookies for 17 dollars .Which would be a better choice?😂😂

The pink sugar cookie has almond extract. Is that what you detected? Also, the green cookie is themed after the Eagles in the Super Bowl and is supposed to be a cookies n cream cookie. Other locations will have the red cookie for the Chiefs in the Super Bowl which is a golden cookies n cream cookie.

The best cookies are made with butter but it's expensive these days and many bakeries are substituting butter with other oils.

I was pretty disappointed this week. FYI I think that is white chocolate, not marshmallow, and on the mystery cookie it is cream cheese icing.

There’s a Crumbl across from UNLV. I’ve thought of trying them, but the line of students is always so long. I think they charge like $4 per cookie 😳🍪😬 They are very popular among the youths 😂 Maybe one day I’ll do a review for my channel 😎

Hi Derek and Catherine, We have several Crumbl Cookies in San Diego, CA. My sister loves to go every week and get the new cookies...great marketing strategy and people feed into it every week. Yes, some of their cookies are meant to be under baked for the softness. Not something I like. I like a soft cookie but because these are so big it does make you think it is under done. As far as their OG chocolate chip cookie, it is very disappointing because of the milk chocolate chips verses semi-sweet chocolate chips which I perfer. I grew up with Nestle Toll House cookies which uses semi-sweet chips and have a richer flavor. Crumbl did a semi-sweet chocolate chip cookie a few months ago and so many KZfaqr's, who review the cookies every week went on and on about how much better it was than the OG. I thought Crumbl would have been listening and would make a change but nope. Anyway, agreed with your review. Love your channel!

Sorry you had a bad experience with crumble but at the same time I’m glad because I live in the Virgin Islands and we don’t have one so I’m glad I’m not missing out on anything. I'm not sure what they mean by underdone. To me, Lofthouse cookies are "underdone".. meaning no real color on the bottom, soft all the way through. Many people feel the ideal texture in cookies is crispy edges with chewy interior.... although I know some like them crispy all the way through.
