I will put my thought about the chinese beta: - Unite could go with two routes here: CN beta goes global, or Chinese exclusivity. - The gameplay, as you said, is close to traditional MOBA (no time limit, there are big boss that walking to tower, upgrades first for the leading team, etc) - no time limit will threw off for some ppl who play unite for that 10 min gameplay. - no time limit will make late game pokemon have more impact (unlike current meta). - China will joining the PWC However - China loves the exclusivity - Current Unite is already taxing for switch (which is the largest players of unite come from, and more likely to spent money than mobile players), if they make it for Switch 2.0, how about current switch owners? Abandon them? Or making 2 version? - the global Unite version is getting AoV treatment (from what I seen) - IMO, the community has been really lenient to TiMi/Tencent + TPC all this time (gem locked new release (Unite is the only one does this), very expensive holowear that ppl will still buy regardless, being satisfied with latest balance patch despite problems still pretty much exists) -> this make me think, they decide it will be all right not to make this the global version. Lastly, if mamo evolves at 7, it will improves the his gameplay for sure. But not able to choose my moveset in game will be a downgrade.

I personally like the time limit. If i have 15 minutes before leaving for the bus, i know i can play a game and be punctual. If there is no time limit, like in overwatch, thos estimations sometmes betray you...

I really like that Zapdos walking towards the goal and before that happens it has pop up alert (One thing I'll change is, the team should work together to get the Zapdos to the goalzone before it provides instant scoring) The game having no time limit is such a big change still has mix feelings about that but honestly if it happens I'm fine with it too Ive heard china always get special chinese version of things due to the market there (but nothing like a whole new game like this ) Great video 🥳

I like the way that the new objectives are handled. If it works the way it appears, securing the final objective won't necessarily negate the first 90% of the game. Having 1 player steal zapdos won't matter if the rest of the opposing team is there to keep it from walking in (because they played strong enough to survive the fight). I'm down with new things and variety, so changing the mechanics isn't a deal breaker for me. Also, the draft system is something lots of people have been calling for. If they added that and nothing else, it would be an improvement, in my opinion. Keep the videos coming.

the new game modes seem so fun to play too, refreshing things instead of the same game over and over just different maps.

This game can easily run on a base Switch, if there are frame drops, menus lags or other things it's just developers fault. I can name many games that runs at 1080p at 60fps without frame drops like Smash Bros Ultimate, Mario Kart 8, Splatoon 2 and 3 and they all look way better than Unite. Even the pre lobby looks like the technically worse version of the one in Splatoon 3, so there are no excuses for Timi

I think we’ll get the new mode for rank since it is more closer to a traditional moba. I don’t see why they wouldn’t keep the current mode for people short on time to still enjoy the game and the other modes are rotated in and out. I think it’s a long shot for us to get the hub but would be cool if we do ✊🏾
