Hi Marta, I was looking to watch an older video because I haven't been a subscriber for very long. I love this page and I learned about doing stencils in your background which looks amazing. I just started to play with watercolor paints and really don't know what I'm doing. I think that using the images from this book helps people like me feel like an artist. I truly can't draw or paint but I'm willing to learn through your teaching me. Besides this is one of the most fun channels. I always wondered where people get these amazing image cutouts. I sometimes find some tiny bags with maybe 10 of those cutouts that are super expensive. Never heard of the word ephemera before, but now I finally know what to search for. I'm going to a huge creative market in 2 days, hopefully I can find some of those ephemera books. I always struggle to create a focus point on my art pages. Some images like these could help create a centerpiece

Make a copy on Your color copier if you have one so you don’t have to cut into one that you like! These are beautiful books!

I think it's because, rather than leaving blank pages on the back side which is easy to do, they chose to add some designs as addition, in case someone does not like the ephemera on the page, they have a possibility to use back page. I personally think it's better to have this choice but problem is that the back pages indeed are equally sometimes surprisingly beautiful ! But I understand why you ask... 😊😊😊

How come your Distress Oxides don’t move when you go over with the gesso? Aren’t Distress Oxides water soluble?

I loved this project. I went out and bought these 2 books, 2 more of hers. I spent $60.00 but we’ll worth it. I didn’t see any copy right in the books so why can’t you copy the pages, cut them out without destroying the book, if you’re using it for your own personal journals, not selling them?

a small layer of clear gesso on top of your page, then maybe a delicate tiny wash layer of white gesso, then stencils with ink... paper ephemera and done :)

I know I'm a grump, it irks me that they put those ephemera books out with duplex printing... On both sides. Why would they not do them on plain paper backing and make it easier on the crafters. I guess they sell more books this way though. Love, love, love the project.

I try to make copies and save the originals. Depending on the printer the quality is still good. But if you’re going to have to pay for a book should be able to use all the graphics!

can you tell me where the number stencil came from. its not your and i looked under studio lite and could not find it. i ordered your along with other stencils.
