Daigo told this story on "FGC Translated" about seeing this Gief player in this arcade like 24/7 back in the day...He was a great player and when Daigo beats him he'd just put in another quarter again and again. But I think that was in Alpha..

the fact that MegamanX knows where to Lariat to not eat a tiger shot OR a sweep is so impressive. Seriously, O. Sagat Vs. Gief is like a 8-2 matchup and you wouldn't think it watching this guy.

I love SFII turbo to be honest both use the power moves too much when people are coming at you it’s best to use hard punch or kicks then Tiger Uppercuts or a fireball

@@MagnusSentDooM it's not a true 10-0 since those are reserved to where you literally lose at round start and there aren't any inputs you can do to stop it. Like the (kinda fake) legendary Honda vs Gief in one of the earlier revisions of SF2 where Gief could SPD Honda roundstart and then inescapable tick throw Honda to death.

I watched Smug get slaughtered by Megaman. And i thought youd get the same treatment, and to his credit, he gave you a big run for your money. Smug is good player but he doesn't have the experience the old classics can give you so the results were obvious. Justin is an old dog so he did much better than him. But megaman-x8 he's another level with his gief...

@@dedfoker Daigo in his stream mentioned something similar about a player who would spend hours in the same arcade, playing only Zangief in sfa2 and becoming a master, beating everyone . Yet when they removed the cab for good, he stopped visiting. Daigo said he would never want to become good this way. Fightcade allows that sort of approach to the game.
