Okay, so I'm looking at the comments and many people are asking for a part 2. There's a few bad endings that are not on here from like season mode on HCTP and SVR games, and even GM mode had bad endings if you lost. So there's 100% going to be a part 2 but if there's any more that you want to share with me then please let me know.

Great video! I was writer, designer and director of Road to Wrestlemania in SVR 09-11. When you make alternate paths and losing endings, you hope people see them. Like either giving Vince my old finishing move (Uber Driver) through a table OR making him do the chicken dance at the end of the CAW story in SVR10. (That chicken dance song cost us $10,000, I heard). Also, it’s just fun to revisit those moments I saw from idea to script to mocap to execution. And of course, it’s worth noting WWE had approval on all story content.

So moral of the story: don't lose.

When I first played "vs. Undertaker" RTWM, I purposely lose at WM because no chance in hell I'm gonna let the streak be broken. Everytime I replay, I also purposely lose at WM (except for a time that I'm curious to watch the winning cut scene)

They should bring this mode back. It made the games so much fun to play. I hadn’t seen some of these endings. John Cena giving Randy Orton the “I don’t know what that means, but you got this. I’m out, bruh!” gesture after Stephanie told him she’d see him Monday was hilarious.

Dude i remember the undertaker creative character storyline had like 6 different endings bc they made it so ridiculously beefed up difficulty

Having watched the main event of Crown Jewel, I can't really say that Shawn Michaels retiring for good is a "bad" ending. It turns out, it can actually be much worse.

The only little detail that I always disliked about those endings was, that these ending promos felt more like they belonged on the RAW the day after, not on Wrestlemania. I know they wanted to end the story on Wrestlemania, hence the title of the mode. But it still felt off.

Svr 2010 foreshadowed the end of HBK's career

In my opinion, the WWE games had far too few alternate storylines/endings/continuations where your character lost and the story continued without a "Game Over" or a "Try Again" result. It would make plenty more immersive storylines and could help to make players more invested.

Surprised to see so many fans of Road to Wrestlemania. I always thought the character choice was too limited, and the stories were too cheesey. I miss classic Here Comes The Pain or even Raw 2 story mode. Felt like there was always more options in those.

I wish you had included the alternate ending to Edge's Road To WrestleMania in SVR 2010 as well. I tried getting that ending myself, but I couldn't unlock it. So I've been searching all over KZfaq for it, but I can't find it.

in Chris Jericho's Road to WrestleMania story in SVR 2011 where he loses the WWE Championship and to add insult to injury when Vince announces Jericho's leaving Raw for SmackDown to make sure Jericho never has another opportunity at the WWE Championship they could've made part 2 of that story where Vince announces the newest member of the SmackDown roster, Chris Jericho where they play Jericho's music but Jericho's a no-show and Vince finds out that Jericho has quit WWE

Never played much of Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 so I didn't know about these bad endings. Even Shawn's retirement ending was a shock and I loved playing through Road to Wrestlemania in SvR 2010.

It was harder to lose than to win in hbk end🤣
