Interesting video! Although I‘m convinced that skates without a hinged cuff can work really well after having skated both systems for several years.

Great video!! Cuffs are one of the most overlooked parts in aggressive blading unfortunately in my opinion. Wish more focus and experimentation was done on that area by brands. Lots of unexplored potential

The fact that Salomons are riveted or "bolted" as you put it, makes them super stiff. They dont really move forward at all after a certain point. I switched from Powerslide skates to old Salomon boots and it was a tough transition at first. But now I dont want to go back.

Indeed. I switched from usd carbons to Salomon’s recently. Best decision

Very interesting stuff! I also always enjoy the little tangents about related sports like skiing.

Great, very informative video about a very important topic! Can't wait for the rest of the videos. Btw 20cm is crazy, I have only 14,5cm and I'm hypermobile 😅

I skate a Them 908 (w. Intuition v2) and last summer I tried removing the cuff all together to get more flex for urban skating. Love it. Have added a 45 strap and frames are the K2 100.

What.

I would highly advise against taking the cuff off any skate.

what about FR SL Speed skates? They have a smaller cuff than the standard FR SL.
@Thisissoul4 ай бұрын
you would have a harder time breaking on them

Mate, do you sell the 45 degree velcro ankle straps? Mine have snapped and I can only find ankle ratchet straps

The fact that you guys doubled the price of most of your skates makes me so sad i was gonna upgrade from a shitty doft boot thats barely held together now because of your guys price raise ill have to stay with it and its not that i qas saving up my dad was gonna buy it for me and we r pretty poor my dad earns 200 dollars a month so we barelynkept up with the old prices now me and a whole bunch of other people will be stuck with our trash skates and ik you have to make a living but you dont thinks its too much?
@papa_pepperoni5 ай бұрын
Since when has their price doubled or even increased? Its most probably the dynamic exchange rate that their shop platform uses. Most likely the currency you are shopping in fell against their set base currency on the platform. Don't just start lashing out.

@garrettho1488 shut the fuck up dude i tried not to be like u should get ur prices down and ill still get a comment saying this dude I do not care if the exchange rate is high or low I'm talking about something else rn
