The Bont "Claw" (now called "Rip Jaws") is SUPER useful! I made my own version nearly a year ago to fix a couple of pain points on a pair of Powerslide Zoom and Next skates, at the ankle bone, and they both went from producing sharp pain while skating, to being VERY comfortable. I used a hair dryer to heat up the boot shell from the inside (without the liner) while applying pressure with the tool. I did it slowly to not damage my skates, and it took a few tries to get the right amount of relief, but it was completely worth it. Highly recommended if there are still pain-points even after heat-molding the liners.

It is so annoying that the FR1 skates have this 5mm screw... I lost one screw, and also the red 5mm allen key's edges became rounded and the tool got useless.. it's a huge inconvenience having to carry and buy two different tools and it's hard to get those screws (I don't wanna having to pay 20 EUR of shipping cost for a 2 EUR screw..) Another reason to throw out any allen keys you get with your skates is because the metal is usually poor quality, and so the corners of the key's hex shape become rounded, and then that in turn rounds off the inside walls of your bolt. Another consideration with your t-tool is to have a long one rather than a short one, because you will get a natural sense of torque when you tighten the axle, in the flexing of it when you twist and tighten the bolt, so you don't over tighten the bolt and strip its thread. With a small t-tool it's hard to find that sweet spot between tightening too much and damaging the bolt versus not tightening enough. A tool I always keep in my skate bag as well as the workshop is one of those handheld screwdrivers with a locking bit holder. It speeds up the process of taking off eight wheels and putting them back on, and because it does not have enough torque to strip the thread, there is no danger; I then just use my t-tool on all eight axles to confirm they are tight enough. I'm often switching wheels on my skates from daytime wheels to night time light up wheels, or different durometers for different surfaces, and so if I had to manually unscrew the axles every time it would just take forever.
