That is amazing you were actually neighbors with Robin Williams. I grew up on Robin Williams movies and he was absolutely one of my favorite actors of all time. I didn't know him personally but I do miss him.

As a child I watched almost all of Robin's movies and enjoyed every, last one, when I found out about his death, I never got over it. Thank you Robin, you will always have a special place in my heart

Join the club. Same. Every time I hear his voice in a short or some video a content creator pieced together... It still hurts. Every time. It's like that movie, "Inside Out" where all the memory orbs have multiple colors representing mixed emotions now. His role as Genie in Disney's Aladdin was my first movie that I can remember watching with him in it. I grew up with reruns of Mork and Mindy still airing (I remember him drinking from a straw with his finger, oj I think) and still watched his films well into adulthood. I really did lose an influential person in my life when he passed. A second father in some senses. I never knew him in real life, never met the man in person either, but I spent a lot of time hearing his voice in my youth through the roles he played in many of the movies I watched. It just hurts and I can't really come to terms with it. I know why he did it, I understand, I get it. But I still can't get past it. I miss him and it hurts knowing there will never be a new film with Robin Williams in it. That smile. The hope and joy he brought into this world. The thought provoking conversations some of his characters had. His colorful facial expressions... He wasn't acting, he LIVED in the shoes of his roles. So seeing him in any movie was like being in the movie with him, he had a way of sucking you into the story being told and made each movie an experience.
