I'd recommend increasing the kerning a bit (space between the letters) as some people might struggle to read what it says if they have worse eye-sight. Good job on the game!

I just played this game for the first time and there are 2 things I want to address. 1. I want to be able to corner better at high speeds. This car goes really fast and I just want to go fast in the turns. I always needed to slow down a lot when making some turns. Slowing down a little makes sense, but not this much in an arcade racer. 2. The pitch and yaw should also be bound to the arrow keys. I don't like using one finger (The little one) for both buttons.

Maybe on parts where its required for the player to slow down, you can remove the fence around the path so if they dont slow down they fall down? It would make it harder for sure.

i definitly think when you get the exaust sounds better the echo in the cave would sound so good. i also think that there should be a slider for how loud people want the echo to be in the cave section. game looks amazing man im gonna try it rn.

This gives me vibes of Trackmania Sunrise and Trackmania 2 Canyon (in my opinion 2 of the best trackmania games), but the important thing is that the physics looks completely different, so, Trackmania vibes + unique physics = winner combination. Keep going, this looks promising!

Like now even if the car is in 200kph it dosent feel like it ifyk what i mean . And I think you should add Multiplayer . Where we create our own private lobbies and play with our friends . There's a developer creating a software called engine simulator, solely for creating the most realistic noises possible all physically simulated, maybe that could help with making car sounds.

As someone who loves dynamic soundtracks in games I think it would be really cool to have music stop in air and immediately start up again right when the wheels touch the ground. It would allow for each track to feel unique. Something like SSX (2012)

Ideas or the Map editor: 1. Strechable building parts would be nice. 2. Diffent gripping surfaces like gravel, snow or ice.

Something that in my opinion would be pretty cool is a checkpoint like thing that changes the car you use to the drift car, so that you can try both cars even if you only play the time attack part, it also helps in adding variety to the gameplay and for those who will compete for the fastest times adds another layer of skill.

Suggestion: maybe after completing a track you could have a win screen that looks stylish. The way I imagine is like the Splatoon 3 level complete screen (that sort of vibe) but with the car in slow motion. I know it's not a really cool gameplay addition but I think it could make completing a track feel very satisfying. Wow ... I am seeing you for the first time , so i don't know with what experience you've started , but this is amazing! Keep going with improvements and I'll definitely play this game once you've released it.

There is an old game made in 2006 or 2008(dont really remember and i can't care enough to research) called trackmania nations forever or tmnf. but that game has never been updated for bugs. but, a newer version has. in 2011, trackmania 2 was released. but there was a gamebreaking bug that was hidden in plain sight. people hadn't noticed it for 3 years. until, one of the pro's was getting warmed up for a tournament on an online server. and as a joke he started to drive backwards. then, history was formed. he noticed it was indeed FASTER to drive backwards by changing between left and right pretty quickly. for the next week, the tm community decided to beat every single record on all of the original tracks in the game. and they did exactly that. but because this glitch was so overpowered, that the creators had to remove it and also removed all of the older records that had the bug inside of them(i think). the reason i felt like telling you this is because i noticed this game has a lot of the same bugs that trackmania has. like the landing bug for example(which still hasn't been patched in tmnf btw). and so are a lot of others. so i recoment having someone playtest the game for bugs like those which could be gamebreaking in the end

You should add dirt, sand and other textured tracks for different environments. Would def help with the track builder and just think would make the game a lot better. Amazing progress tho!

First time I have found a vid from you. Huge respect, it looks super cool and with steam workshop support it can actually have a community. Which is missing from so many games today. The drifting looks surprisingly good, its super hard for games to make drifting looks smooth. As far as the drifting points, if you watch a formula drift event you will see there are boxes on the ground called zones and the more you stay in the zone the more points you get. You could also add the clipping points like you were talking about and it could be a pretty cool system

I'm amazed how quickly you've learnt. I can't wait to play the full game. You could add a finish camera to the track builder so that the level creator can choose what the player sees when they finish the race, and the camera slow motion speed.

To make the track builder more efficient you could add an option like roller coaster tycoon had to chain the track pieces, but also leave the placing option too, for more extreme tracks. Splines would add more flexibility to curves, wall transitions/jumps with splines. Just some ideas that I don't see many times but it is convenient.

You should add some speedometers that if going the right amount of speed unlock the next part of the track like a gate opens or something

For cool "effect" and "realism", while air controlling, you could add control surfaces at the extremeties of the rear spoiler. This would feel more responsive to driver, provide an understanding of what is physicly happening (even if it's not true) and that would "explain" the lack of yaw control

With the building system i think you should make it so you you arnt stuck to hard rotations and allow you to turn/roll however much the user wants to. Could create much more creative things with that

I like the addition of the cave a lot, the rest of the track still feels very disconnected from the terrain though, I suggest maybe having a straight going through a very narrow canyon section or something like that

If you want to make sense of the in air controls, you could visualize it with some small side-thrusters like the ones spacecraft use to position themselves in space :)

Tbh the empty space for the track builder is kind of nice, then once its completed allow to pick background map.

Someone has probably mentioned this before, but I think it would be more efficient to have a toggle for rails/barriers instead of separate pieces. It just seems more intuitive than selecting different pieces!

Looks like a tasteful middle ground between Trackmania (Stunttrack racing with zero air control) and Jet car stunts (Stunttrack racing with thrust air control and -brake).

i think it would be a good idea, that in video settings there would be a screenshot of a game (after you hover over your mouse on a setting) that would show off how much the graphics would change. i hope i explained it right, bc it makes sense in my head lol

I wanted to try the game when you launched it but I realised that you can't change the keybinds and it makes it really hard to play with wasd keybinds instead of zqsd keybinds (french keybinds) so it would be nice if you could add a feature to change the keybinds! Also you did a very good job and your vids are always very good and entertaining to watch. Keep up the good work. 💪
