I'd argue otherwise, Sir Topham Hatt is an early to mid-20th-century British aristocrat with a waistline to reflect such a lifestyle. You'd almost want someone akin to Alfred Hitchcock or Sir Churchill in appearance. Although it would seem a missed opportunity to not cast Tom Hanks as one of his personal assistants or Alec Baldwin, given the later narrated Thomas' first theatrical release & two seasons of the show.

Last time Thomas was on the big screen, it was Thomas and the Magic Railroad. Obviously the movie isn’t perfect, but it was cool. Is this a good idea? Sure I just hope there’s no Woke, LGBTQ, and Trans Garbage that’ll tarnish a beloved franchise that’s been around for decades. IDK if I’ll watch it, because I’m 23. 😂 But if I hear it’s good, while also giving nostalgia to the fans, I’d be happy to give it a watch. 😀😂

Many Thomas fans, including myself believe that the movie will release sometime in late 2025 to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the franchise. In terms of plot, I’m expecting that the movie will be set in the 21st century with Thomas, Diesel and the rest of the steam team experiencing the rise of electric locomotives and looking to find a new home from sodor to avoid the scrapyards. There’s a good chance too that the design of the engines could take inspiration from the cancelled movie The Adventures Of Thomas which was set for a 2012 release date including the plot line of a father and son being separated from each other and Thomas looking to reunite the two. In terms cast, my ideal cast would be: Thomas - Ewan McGregor Percy - Daniel Radcliffe James - Tom Hiddleston Toby - Andy Serkis Edward - Sacha Baron Cohen Henry - Christian Bale Gordon - Ben Kingsley Emily - Cate Blanchett Diesel - Idris Elba The Fat Controller/Sir Topham Hatt - Jack Black Christoper Loyd - The Rev W Awdry Neil Patrick Harris - The Father Will Ferrell - The Mattel CEO ( mind you the movie will be set in the same universe as Barbie )

I think it will be the railway series take because we need to see the stories, adapt into movies like The Three Railway Engines, Thomas the Tank Engine, James the Red Engine, Tank Engine Thomas Again, Troublesome Engines, Henry the Green Engine, Toby the Tram Engine and Gordon the Big Engine for the first half. In the second half we need to see more adaptions stories of Edward the Blue Engine, Four Little Engines, Percy the Small Engine, The Eight Famous Engines, Duck and the Diesel Engine, The Little Old Engine, The Twin Engines, Branch Line Engines, Gallant Old Engine, Stepney the "Bluebell" Engine, Mountain Engines, Very Old Engines, Main Line Engines, Small Railway Engines, Enterprising Engines, Oliver the Western Engine, Duke the Lost Engine and Tramway Engines into movies as well.

I hope the clay-faced models will come back and be used again where the voice stars (US and UK audios) will each return to voice their respective characters again leading to "Thomas and Friends" permanently revived as the 60FPS Clay-Faced Model Series with the CGI-Voices (US and UK) and Mark Moraghan narrating and pick up where it left off as well as Series 11-24 and the Specials re-filmed. I think it's a possibility it can make it to the big screen. I grew up with the show as a kid and I had an on and off relationship with the franchise as a kid, but I stopped watching it for a long time in 2008 and then got back into it in 2016, I'm glad to watch the show's end in 2021. I bet it can break the box office like the Super Mario Bros movie because there are fans that grew up with the show as kids and now adults and I would want the movie to be a part of the original show.

I did mention this several times before in other places, but here I go. I wanted to be a love letter to steam locomotives and steam preservation all over the world taking beliefs and opinions about steam locomotives and showing them to The wider public. And I would really love the lesson of just because it's old doesn't mean it can't be useful a cliche probably I know. But the thing about cliches they work simple as that and maybe perhaps we can also fit in the lesson. That just because you feel like nothing's going right now doesn't mean that's how it's always going to be. I feel like it'll help and inspire a lot of people and this is coming from a steam locomotive and Thomas fan himself. I really hope they go through with that. PS. If they were to do a classic Thomas Chase scene, please have them used jump by Van Halen as a background music ever since Herbie fully loaded. That's all I think about when I listen to that song 😄🙂🚂

I think mattel is ganna take the orriginal Thomas and friends things back and also have all engines go in it at the animation part making them meet eachotther and realise that there is an entire multiverse of trains and I think there will be a reference to chuggington if mattel wants to make a reference to that very forgotten series but yeah and after Both Thomas trains meet eachotther they go an an adventure to find the magicall engine lady to save the magic of sodor and to stop diesel 10 as I believe diesel 10 will have a comeback in the movie trying to reboot the orriginal engines into all engines go but all engines go Thomas manages to get all of his friends and they all defy the laws of physics like they always do and send diesel 10 to his place but in order for them to do that they would need lady. But this is just my theory and if mattel doesn't make it like this I'm ganna be sad
