I recently got in contact with someone--who we will name Patrick--who used to upload videos on Vimeo. According to Patrick, he saw a video which was uploaded by some account--that has now deleted since late 2016, named Darrel37. Patrick saw the video about a few weeks before Darrel37 deleted their account, and downloaded it because he said that he was studying various different types of video quality. I asked for the video file, and for permission to upload to KZfaq, and I was able to do just that.
The video that I have just uploaded was the same video file that I got from Patrick. According to him, the original video was uploaded on January 12th, 2013. The video showed what appears to be a Thomas and Friends nameboard sequence from an episode Grandpuff. The nameboards show the characters that appeared in the Grandpuff episode, which is normal at first, but the last second of the video shows what appears to be Smudger's nameboard. I do not know if Smudger's nameboard is lost media, or where Darrel37 got the original footage from, but what I do know is that there could be nameboards for other characters out there.
If you made it down this far, this video is fake. I edited the Nameboard sequence and created the Smudger nameboard myself. This video is not legitimate lost media that has been found, but it is a video of something at least.
