One of my personal top favourites from Thomas.

Each album is in its own right. They all offer something different. However, this album is still my #1 album for years. It carries me through many different expressions of reality. I love this track, Aura, it gives a sense of wonder, trust, fulfillment, peace, joy and adventure. Always amazes me the slow melodic movement of the horn section over the driving pulse of the other instruments, with the call and response between the horns and choir.

After all these years, I still get goosebumps listening to this. What a masterpiece.

I miss these good old days... Thomas songs are still very good today, but in my opinion they lack in terms of deepness... his Illusions album will never be beaten in terms of professionalism and uniqueness.

Upon first hearing Aura over a decade ago, it has remained in my top 5 favorite pieces of music ever since. It is the direct inspiration for the finale of an epic fantasy story I'm writing.

Absolutely EPIC!!! Thomas please include pieces from Illusions on upcoming tours. It's my dream hearing it live.
