I hope he bounce back. The best thing for him is that DJ Smith can't play him with Zaitsev anymore. It will be the first time that he starts a season without Zaitsev as a partner. Also he's not the top D of this team anymore so that might help him play if DJ doesn't have to put him 30 minutes a game.

We are hard on him cause we're paying him 8 mill, but remember they're the first one to say hey i want to stick around during the rebuild. While 8 mill might be too much for him, I don't think he'd get as much criticism if he got payed 6-7 mill. Still a fantastic D and glad he's playing for us.

Exactly why Chabby is my fave player. He was so fucking good 2018-19. Was leading all dman in points through late November-early December 2018. Offensively, I think he’ll bounce back big time in 2023-24. However, the overplaying and Defensive liability stuff hurts him. He’ll be played properly this year which is huge, but has and probably will never be a defensive rock.

wasn't able to watch most of the season but Chabot for sure has the skills to put up more points and especially more goals. He just needs to shoot more and keep moving up in the play Still our best defencemen probably but next year will be great to have him, Sandy and Chychrun all compete for the title

Facts he’s a phenomenal skater. Effortless and has great hands to go with it. I definitely agree he should be more aggressive with his shot. TBH he should’ve had more points last year. None the less still 20 pp points and double digit goals. I bet he’ll get 14G 35A this upcoming season.
