Thomas was chuffing along until he found Big Boy just visiting Sodor island and race head to head!
The challenge begins for Thomas.
This animation has a broader message that Bigger isn't always better meaning, if your rich doesn't mean a happy successful life, and
being bigger than everyone else doesn't make you a better person, and self worthy is egotism and to make this clear just because your
big and mighty powerful does not always mean a better advantage.
This Big Boy might seem smaller than Thomas in this animation but isn't accurate to scale for this animation!
Thomas is actually smaller than the big boy because it applies to the 1.5:1 scale to determine the train's scale
which Big Boy is actually larger than Thomas.

Btw I’m not tryna be a smartass but the crank gear part is on the opposite side, it’s supposed to go forwards not backwards (the one that is at the left side of spot of the rod connector thing)

It’s not that I wasn’t trying to be smart at It, I knew how it worked however, it was “detrimentally laggy” on the animation program I was using to make this video very difficult to animate it accurately.

Big boy definitely should have won. They are capable of 70-80 mph (Don’t quote me on that) and Thomas is just a little switcher that would only be going around maybe 20 at the highest.

@@smilyboi9847 tho thomas's design is a little diffrent from the original E2's design, first thomas has the exstended side tanks, now idk if this really counts bc after E2 No 100 was made they decided to ad the exstended side tanks so... Anwyas.. Second thomas has a side windows the other E2's dont have the side windows and one more thomas has wheel arch now just like the side tanks they also aded the wheel arch on some of there E2's so idk if this also counts

Can't I point out that there is physically no way that Thomas is driving right now. There are no pistons driving those side rods, so there is nothing driving the train. Also the top speed of an engine like Thomas is about 50 mph to 60 mph. Vs the Big Boy which has a top speed of about 85 mph.

Fun fact: Some engines have their valve gear on the inside and the connecting rods to give the power to all the wheels, and this is why Thomas has no outer pistons or valve gear. Also a fun fact: Thomas' class (the LBS&SCR E2) was actually capable of about 70mph when pushed to the limits.

I’ll keep trying new mechanics for these animations as long as it’s possible and the prior hardware space to make the experience much more enjoyable and to exclude faster render times to keep pushing out this content. Me reaching 100,000 subscribers is only the tip of the iceberg because there are animation mechanics and stories I just haven’t done quite yet which might mean in the far future as this is only speculation, I could reach a billion views one day now I can’t think that would be true but it’s a small likely chance.

In real life the LBSC E2 was actually pretty useless. Also it had low horsepower. (That is what thomas is) it was a British lightweight locomotive designed for shunting. So it makes sense why big boy was faster than thomas.

Thomas in this animation was equipped with a modified boiler for more horsepower same with the Bog Boy in order for Thomas to attend the train races. I will begin a tiny series of Thomas racing with other vehicles.

Btw Hiro is Base of "South Korea" version of JNR D51 why i say South Korea version is beacuse D51 from Japan is only operate on 1,067 mm while in Thomas Universe the Hiro is 1,435 mm D51 from Japan so in Thomas Universe, Japan main rail gauge is 1,435 mm even though its not

In no race would Thomas ever beat a big boy, the locomotives that Thomas was based on would have a top speed around 60 mph, compared to the big boy's 80 mph. If you add a load to either of them, the difference in tractive effort will guarantee the big boy will win by a mile, with over a 6x tractive effort
