After years of listening to this music again and again, knowing this would be the song of my life, and never had the courage to learn it… I finally had faith and after months of decrypting, learning, playing, failing, mastering the pattern, I am so proud to share this masterpiece with you.
I truly hope you'll love that video, it asked us (my cameraman and I) a lot of efforts, strength, time, money to invest in that project, and my fingers are crossed hoping you'll feel how we felt doing this.

That intro pattern … It is a big piece to learn ^^ Took me months just for this pattern ! I remember playing the "chorus" with the fast double bass drums pattern ten years ago but not the beginning of the track ! ^^'

It’s only been our for less than 6 hours Ahaha But yeah, hope it won’t do 5K at that’s it. But it’s the game, I prefer to produce that high quality content than doing something just ok 😊 At least I do my best to not look as the majority of KZfaq ! And to be honest, it’s so satisfying to have that result at the end 🙏🏻

RLRL LRLR RLRL LR RL LR RLRL LRLR RLRL LR RL And for your second question, the ride is constant, doing the Bell and the Ride alternately. What’s is complicated is the the pattern (the one above) is not written in 4/4 and has to repeat itself a few times before going back to the start of the bar. As a guitarist it amazes me when you see the drummers perspective on what you are playing when it might be a slower part of the song for the guitars you are still going at it 1000mph. Absolutely epic cover I can tell that took a lot of muscle memory and natural timing to nail. Well done!

You are right my friend, that song is the masterpiece whatsoever. I really wanted to respect the song from start to finish. I thought about how to record the intro, I started to hit everything at my parent’s house and in their garden, and I took a metal box from the garden and cut some bamboos 😂 But the results is in my opinion very clean and I am proud of it !

This is a great cover, all the extra percussion in the beginning was really cool! I didn’t use to listen a lot of Gojira until I went and saw Gojira. This song absolutely fucks live, I didn’t even realize it was a 10 min song, it just breezes by and you killed it.
