Gorr reaches the center of the universe where Eternity’s gate lies hidden. He wields Stormbreaker, the mighty hammer that can unlock the secrets of creation. Thor appears in a blaze of thunder and lightning and empowers the children with his godly essence, turning them into warriors of Asgard. They fight against the horde of shadow beasts that serve Gorr.
Thor and Gorr engage in a duel that shakes the foundations of reality. Foster joins the battle, wielding Mjolnir, the original hammer of Thor. Thor distracts Gorr long enough for Foster to destroy the Necrosword, sacrificing herself and Gorr in the process. Then, he retrieves Stormbreaker and sends the children home with it, but he fails to prevent Gorr from entering Eternity.

Gore the god butcher should have been a darker film but they just transformed it into a comedy again. Thor ragnarok had its moments and got the humor spot on but they failed this one. It’s just too bad that Christian bail makes one appearance in the marvel scene and it’s a train wreck.

How illogical it is when Jane can go one on one with Gorr without Thor help at certain points and also Thor has to use somebody else weapon. Gorr is the best part of the movie. Entire movie plot is just so lame and badly directed.

A god butcher who barely beat jane foster, valkyrie, thor. The weapon that was built to kill gods, but not even more powerful than mjolnir, thunderbolt, stormbreaker. Just on dragonfang level. Thunderbolt subplot isnt even needed

I think a lotmof people got confused with the axe. Storm breaker is a morw powerful weapon and it can open the bifrost but anyone can use it not ust people who are worthy. The axe never got that worthness spell that was put on the hammer by Odin.

I haven't seen the film, but it seems kind of unheroic to have the good guys go two on one against the villain, especially when he doesn't appear to be significantly more powerful than either of them (eg: two on one in Terminator 2 is a lot easier to swallow because T1000 is far stronger)

I just want to say that this moving could have been so good with just a few changes in emphasis, a few modifications to the story. This whole idea of Jane being unable to wield mjolnir because it somehow drains her energy or interferes with her chemotherapy. Complete rubbish. Totally incomprehensible and unnecessary. Instead, she's dying of cancer. We get to see her on her death bed, emaciated and on the verge of death, and she calls for Mjolnir and she becomes a Goddess, her cancer is cured. But the catch is she is saved only as long as she has Mjolnir. She loses Mjolnir and she dies. Now we see the real stakes in the story. And we get her sacrifice at the end - she destroys Mjolnir (and by extension, herself) to destroy the Necrosword. Soooo much better. And instead of Zeus playing the clown, instead he helps Thor. But Gorr shows up and goes on a rampage in Omnipotence City. The God Butcher gets to actually butcher gods, you know, on camera! Change those two basic plot points, tone down the screaming goats a bit and damn, you have yourself a really good movie. My two cents anyway.

Absolutely awful choreograph. at 54, Thor could just stab Gorr, but thats too quick of a death, so he does a giant leap spin to give him time to defend himself. This comes after a quick jump-cut sends Bale flying the opposite direction from whatever Thor does... cant even see what Thor does in slow mo but Gorr goes fying. What a nonsense fight scene. No wonder it got panned.
