In an attempt by an inquisitive Don Blake to seek the answers behind Thor's mysterious origins, Dr. Blake takes Thor on a trip to the local bar.

Paying homage to another actor from the late eighties to play the Norse thunder deity, this marks one of Eric Allan Kramer's (Good Luck Charlie's Bob Duncan on Disney) first appearances.

That's actually Eric Allan Kramer. They look a lot a like, at least when they're not side by side, so the mistake is understandable.

It was supposed to be a backdoor pilot, just like Trial of the Incredible Hulk was supposed to be a backdoor pilot for Daredevil.

This is the Thor I remembered. Too bad it took 20 years for Marvel movies to become a thing. The Avengers in 1991 with Lou Ferrigno/Bill Bixby as The Hulk/Banner, Eric Allen Kramer as Thor, Matt Sallinger as Captain America and 26 year old Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man would have been fun to watch

I like this version better than Hemsworth's. They're both chuckleheads and nothing like the Thor from the comics, but at least the Kramer Thor still has kind of a warrior spirit. Chris spends too much time trying to be funny. I don't hate Chris Hemsworth Thor, and maybe it's just nostalgia talking to much, but Eric Allan Kramer's Thor will always have a special place in my heart!

As a kid this is the scene I remember the most from that Hulk movie. It was etched in my mind that Thor went to a Biker bar to Drink, arm wrestle Bikies and laugh and dance with hot women.

Imagine The Avengers in 1991 with a young Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man, Eric Kramer as Thor, Lou Ferrigno/Bill Bixby as The Hulk/Banner, Matt Salinger as Captain America and Jeremy Miller as Spiderman.

If David Banner had shown Thor a photo of his 1st wife Laura, who he lost in a car accident before he became the Hulk and a photo of his 2nd wife Carolyn, who he lost to a terrible disease after he became the Hulk and didn't get her to the hospital with the cure before it became too late, Thor probably would've cried afterward and feel so sorry for David.

It would've been interesting if David Banner told Don Blake & Thor of the circumstances that led him to becoming the Hulk and why he has been running all across the country,getting into trouble everywhere he went while trying to find a cure for his problem.

This reminds me a lot of an experience I/we had in Tilton New Jersey in the mid 1980's. The bar/strip club was friendlier than the restaurants and department stores.

Even if David Banner got told by Donald Blake that he's taking Thor to a biker bar for him to have some food, some drinks and meet some women after they had a chat, David certainly wouldn't go there because he had been to bars before and had gotten into trouble there.

It would've been incredible if the 3rd Incredible Hulk YV-Movie had Dr. David Banner, alias the Hulk, getting help from Donald Blake, Thor & Daredevil in it and to see how Thor would react meeting Matthew Murdoch and hearing the lawyer tell him that he got blind saving a blind, old man from getting hit by a truck that carried radioactive chemicals in the drums and that one of them got loose and spilled into Matthew Murdoch's eyes and got permanent blindness. Thor would've told Matthew Murdoch that he admires his courage for saving a stranger's life.

It would've been incredible if a 4th Incredible Hulk TV-Movie had been made and in it Donald Blake, Thor & Daredevil were to meet after they heard on the news that the Hulk had been captured after falling into a coma and turned back to David Banner after he fell out of an exploding plane fighting a bad guy and a bad woman. Thor would understand humans more if he met Matt Murdoch, a blind lawyer who tried to help David once after being arrested for a murder he didn't commit under an alias.

The Incredible Hulk Returns (1988) on NBC followed by The Trial Of The Incredible Hulk (1989) with Daredevil played by Rex (Street Hawk) Smith and ending with The Death Of The Incredible Hulk (1990) and Bill Bixby's death in 1993. There was also supposedly a Hulk and Spider-Man movie in the works with Nicholas Hammond reprising his role as Spider-Man from the 1977-1979 TV series but Lou Ferrigno was filming Hercules (1983) and it's sequel in Italy at the time.
