The reason it "feels" very guardians of the galaxy-ish is because Guardians was the first movie (outside of the first Thor) to visualize the scope of the MCU outside of Earth. Marvel wanted to be consistent with the Universe in the MCU hence why it has the same feel and color palette as the Guardians movies.
