The Godblast is really nothing more than Thor channeling the energies from his own divine lifeforce which was always destined to gain the Odin-Force and evolve past Odin. If anything, Thor was always capable of outputting multiversal levels of power using the Godblast. A better question may be to ask Cates whether the Power Cosmic amped his Godblast but imo, that makes even less sense.

Thor Talk honestly The fact that caulking Thor was mentioned and was supposed to be his face and got changed into what it is now in the fact that everyone who killed him he had to fight against only to get God blessed by him I would suggest cosmic Thor is relative maybe a little weaker or maybe a little stronger than a king for and that's very impressive since old king Thor has the phoenix force

Old king Thor destroyed the very foundation of the marvel multiverse and necroverse Gorr was literally a multiversal threat, that was affecting every reality in marvel (and the Main 616 universe). And let's not forget that OKT is fighting literally an aspect of oblivion and freaking entropy (entropy a new cosmic abstract being that OHK freaking molecule man.) CKT only made Black Winter bleed and even then black winter wasn't even taking him seriously and he wasn't a priority. Thor destroyed the very foundation that held the multiverse together against Gorr. (all of that done in baser form with out using the power of the Phoenix Force you know... The entity considered the Nexus all reality/possibilities of the marvel multiverse lmao.)

Old King Thor "Thor Force" with Mjolnir infused with the "Phoenix Force" (which btw was once knocked out by a young Prince Thor in battle) was way more powerful because the "Phoenix Force" is in itself a sentient cosmic abstract entity, a major power in the cosmic balance of power within the universe, the "Phoenix Force" is on par with other cosmic abstract entities like the Celestials and all other entities that are below Eternity, Infinity and of course the Living Tribunal. So that version of "King Thor "Thor Force" is way more powerful than Cosmic Thor which the two version both have in common, which is, they both killed "Galactus". Here's my reasoning to get to this conclusion, Prince Thor has at one point or another pretty much battled and bested every Herald of Galactus that were all infused with the power cosmic bestowed upon them by Galactus (Silver Surfer included). A King Thor "Thor Force" who inherited his father's powers plus the Odin Force is way more powerful than Odin ever was. Remember Thor's lineage, where Odin mated with Gaea the last eldest earth Goddess who is the living embodiment of Mother Nature and life because Odin wanted to get an heir that would surpass him in powers to protect Asgard and the 9 realms "Issue #300". As I can see by your name, you're a true fan of Thor which is awesome, we both definitely share that same passion and know our characters. Which by that fact, I'm sure I don't have to remind you that even a young "Prince Thor" made a hungry Galactus flee for his life when hit by Prince Thor's God blast. Then we get to my favorite version, "Rune King Thor", which many don't realize is just a enhanced cosmic version of King Thor "Thor Force" that we've all been waiting for, where King Thor is also finally given the respect he deserves. All that extreme extra power that Rune King Thor now wields is because he used the Rune magic to gain knowledge of the once called "Odin Force". Thanks to the Rune Magic and his sacrifices, he was able to tap into the full power of the once called "Odin Force". Something Odin was never able to achieve, but King Thor was due to sacrificing both eyes and hanging himself from the world tree just like his father did before him, King Thor just went a step further and therefore unleashed and now wield the full power that is now called the "Thor Force". The reason this is my favorite version of King Thor is because, it's all about Rune King Thor and the full force and powers of the "Odin Force" now called the Thor Force. Rune King Thor was not given extra powers by another cosmic entity nor was he enhanced by a universal force or cosmic artifact. It's all his own thanks to powers passed down to him by birthright which makes him now a cosmic entity on par with most other abstract cosmic entities that has a clear hierarchy and totem pole sort to speak. Yes of course I know Rune King Thor is not on top of that food chain but at the end of that storyline it says that Rune King Thor is now one with the universe which clearly means he shares a small portion of Eternity's powers. So combined to his own extreme and vast new powers that was available to him and his father all this time but only King Thor was able to unleash and wield it. Hence why in this Donny Cates run where he kills Galactus, at one point King Thor says to Galactus "You don't know the power I wield" and that's not the Rune King Thor "Thor Force" speaking. If just King Thor temporally enhanced with a portion of Galactus's power cosmic could do what he did, imagine what a Rune King Thor without Galactus's cosmic power could of done?

Why has Thor never shown the ability to steal powers before? I think it is purely because of the world tree. Anyway King Thor himself said in issue 8,'don't mistake weilding my hammer for weilding my power. So Devourer king Thor defenately surpasses Phoenix king Thor. Doctor doom with the power of Galactus has beaten Odin, Odin has lost consistently, the only difference between king Thor and Odin is that its plus all of Thors anbilities, him being half elder god.Classic Thor has even sent Galactus running as you've mentioned. I have kind of been all over the place. Do you remeber in issue 5 when he used the godblast against the winter, it did absolutely nothing! That was his best shot, it made the winter bleed a littlr, but in issue 6 he took Galans full power and I believe in that short period of time as devourer king Thor, surpassed even RKT, because he is a million times stronger than he was in issue 5, he didn't even use the Godblast, When Thor summoned all of Galans power and absorbed it all he temoorarily became stronger than the winter, who is a multiversal being his presence was corrupting the world tree, which means Devourer king Thor has the ability to end ragnarok, infact the winter is stronger than those who sit above in shadows becauss he literally consumes universes.Or as surfer put it realities.

@@ThorTalk Also, while I was being VEEERY forgiving about Aaron's run , i simply cannot stand his treatment of Thor anymore. The funny thing is, that he wrote Jane Thor very well. But he simply cannot write Odinson to save his life. Maybe because he didn't create him. It's like he just doing it on purpose. After Godbutcher(which is a masterpiece) his Odinson is simply unreadable.
