This is an exquisite wooden cabinet with a Thorens AD30 musical mechanism mounted inside. The cabinet has dual doors with frosted glass that feature an etched heart design (see photos). The cabinet's back is removable (see photos). The Swiss made Thorens AD-30 (automatic disc 30 tooth comb) musical mechanism plays metal 4-1/2" musical discs and has been professionally serviced and restored to "AS NEW" condition by the seller, Music Box Repair Center Unlimited, and comes with a seller provided 2 year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The musical mechanism features a winding key and a start/ stop lever. Inside the cabinet on the sides of the musical mechanism there are storage areas to store musical discs. Included with this piece is a 5 disc set of musical discs (Thorens disc set #AA-1), as well as an instruction sheet on how to use the musical mechanism. .
