Do you sell any of the parts needed for the conversion? What brakes did you go with? Can you use the stock hummer caliper? Thinking about buying a hummer H3 Alpha and would do a solid axle with a 3 link just like you have basically right after buying it. I'd leave the rear alone initially, but would ultimately end up doing a 14 bolt with a triangulated 4 link and would shave the 14 bolt to give me more clearance. I'll definitely do a 14 bolt disk conversion, but would really like to be able to retain the factory calipers front and rear, so that will be a little bit of a project to get that to work the way it should. Are you running full width axles or did you have them narrowed? I'll probably just run them full width and run a wheel with an offset that keeps them from sticking out really far. What size tires are you running. I'll probably run a 37. I want to run the 4:1 transfer case and will regear the axles when I install lockers with 4.38s or 4.55s. I'll figure out what gearing I want to do when I get to that point. If I can find some axles from an 89 3/4 ton suburban 2500 then they will come with 4.10s stock, so I'll know how much taller gears I'll need once it's all done and back on the road. To simplify things, I'm gonna run ORI Struts instead of springs and shocks or coilovers. They are an air shock design that has many other features. They replace the spring, shock, bumps and sway bars, all in one unit. A little pricey but after you consider the price of good coils, mounting brackets, good reservoir shocks and high quality leafs for the rear, they end up being pretty close to the same price but offer much better performance. I'll run some 14" or 16" ORI's with them being set up to run right in the middle of the stroke, ultimately giving me 7-8" of travel in either direction. Anyway, Great build and video

What would a conversion like this cost?

What year box? I saw you writeup on hummer4x4offroad as well and you didn't mention what year.

Nissan Xterra (Gen I)....99 to 04 I think. Its the only Xterra box there is, as they went rack & pinion in 2005 (Gen II). The last build I did, I chose a Toyota FJ80 box, and I'm currently doing another SASH3 using a Toyota IFS box. Both of these use a forward pointing pitman arm, which allows you to scoot the axle forward about an inch. All three boxes are about the same in terms of strength and layout, however the Toyota boxes have more options for pitman arms and input u-joints.
