Please do not go in this if you get anxious easily, sensitive to flashing lights, claustrophobic, or have sensory issues/ autism. Don’t get me wrong it is a very cool attraction but does get very scary and overwhelming very quickly if your not prepared, please don’t make the mistake I made by going in even though I have claustrophobia and anxiety, I had to go out the emergency exit half way though because it got to much! But if things like that don’t bother you, you will love it!

i know a lot of people didn’t like this but i’m autistic and black mirror is one of my special interests; although the sensory stuff was a bit much, i got through it bc of how much i loved the show. if you don’t really like black mirror or have never watched it, you wouldn’t care and probably thought it was trash which is fine lawl

We visited this attraction today. While there are better walkthrough attractions out there, I honestly don't think this one is as bad as people say it is. The photos of you at the beginning and how they're utilised throughout is a nice touch, I was a little creeped out when it said my name (but in a good way), I kind of thought the voice of the person trying to help you could've been better, we weren't stuck in the mirror maze that long, my favourite part was probably the "Redundant Organisms" part where you see your reflection get blurred out, and I didn't see the twist at the end coming. As for people complaining about having sensory issues, it literally does warn you before you enter. If you aren't going to read what kind of attraction it is, then don't be surprised when it isn't what you expected.

Yeah, it’s just that, for what it is, it seems way out of place with Colossus towering over it. You go in there thinking “My garden shed is bigger than this” or whatever.

I got stuck in the maze, not knowing the way anymore, and had to look to the green dots on the ceiling... . To stop feeling anxious that I am not finding the exit fast enough. I understand. Just remind yourself that nobody is getting trapped in a maze overnight and staff is trained to get people out. The people that work the maze know the maze, they don't let you stuck in there for over x minutes... . They will leave you a bit of time but will get you out. I ended up nearby a STAFF ONLY place... . And got confused by all the please wait signs but didn't know for how long or why people were sent a different direction?

I liked it, and got rly anxious. But if its going to ask you to write your name it should really fuck with you more inside the maze. If I heard my name being whispered or called out in a panicked voice I think I would have broke down. (which im assuming is the intention of this maze) Instead you just get a kind of goofy projection that looks just like a IG filter

It is not black mirror style scare, it is just jump scares and a twist robot story. I have quite bad anxiety and it was a complete sensory overload with the lights and air blasted in my face. I had multiple panic attacks and lost my family when another family ran in front of me and cut us off. I really would have appreciated some sort of button or door for a staff member to come and get you or something because I spent about 20 minutes stood in one room just trying to calm down. Considering it says at the start that it does not have extreme effects intended to scare this is actually quite dangerous :(
@notactuallytesco

Granted you've got high anxiety and such, but for the average person I don't think the effects are all too extreme, just some lighting, air cannon and a smoke machine

It did occur to me when I was in there that the best way to enjoy this experience would be to take note of the names of the other people in there with you.. and then mess with them throughout the time they were trying to escape.... :) Not that I did that. About 30 seconds in, I decided I didn't really like it too much, and just focussed on trying to get out quickly. It took about a minute once I was in the maze itself. For me, this was unpleasant but not scary.
@GatfordGames
@GatfordGames 2 жыл бұрын
Slightly mirroring others comments here, I went in the labyrinth today with my daughter and her two friends (all 15 and my daughter being in a wheelchair) and once the intro part is over and we entered the maze part, things went sideways quickly. We were all so disoriented trying to navigate it with the wheelchair that we got stuck for near 20 minutes and one of my daughters friends had a full panic attack. I ended up finding us the way out but it was definitely a lot for people with anxiety or autism and even for me, someone who doesn’t get bothered by things like that, I found it rather intense.
@melodyabcdefghijklmnopqrst1663

I’m quite claustrophobic, I went into this not knowing what I would expect. I had a mini panic attack 2-3 mins into this. I’m usually not one to ever panic and usually very calm in stressful situations. But this was different. Being stuck in a maze where you do not have a way out if you feel unease, unless you find the exit plus flashing lights blinding you can be extremely frustrating. I’m not sure if there was any warnings but someone should have definitely told me before hand. I even asked the mean lady who took my photo what should I be expecting and she told me “you’l find out”.

@trublood It’s obvious from multiple comments heheh didn’t expect it to be THAT intense. Yes there may be warnings but doesn’t really explain the intensity of it. Though your comments makes it clear you are a judgmental person and lack the mental capacity to understand that… Like I thought I would enjoy this attraction as it not clear how intense it is - I’m glad I watched the video as it turns out I wouldn’t enjoy it. Then again I have the brain cells to understand why it can mess with peoples anxiety
