The babies got their bath today. We took the time to tear down their room, disinfect and rearrange everything in a different configuration. Change is good because it helps the babies be flexible and adaptable. That helps when they leave for their new home. I think the new configuration of their playstations was a hit. What do you think? Thank you everyone who commented on recommendations for blue flower names for my new girl. I choose from the recommendations, Blue Violet. Violets are small delicate flowers and I thought that fit her perfectly. The babies are going to be 10 weeks old in the next 3 days. Time has flown by. They will be leaving the Cattery right before their 13 week birthday. We will try to get at least one or maybe two videos before they leave. Awesome, I remember telling you "Blue violet. I was born in February and the Violet and Primerose are the flowers for that month.

Precious....it must be so hard to let them go😔....but I’m sure knowing they are going to good homes makes it much easier! 🥰

Yes, but the key, as you stated, is knowing they are going to really good homes that I stay in contact with and have built a relationship with. Otherwise, I could not do it. I vet all my Kitten Applications really well for just that reason.

They are just too adorable 🥰 I have 19 all indoor, love them all but no more after they pass, we are getting too old to be cleaning and the litter and cost of food. All but for 2 were rescued.

I know the feeling. I have been downsizing the Cattery seriously since last Fall 2019. I am seriously contemplating going down to only two breeding girls at a time. Then probably down to one breeding girl. As you age, it does get very hard to have a normal life and a busy Cattery all at the same time.

Roughly how much do these babies weigh?

Most of the kittens are weighting in at 9 weeks old at just near 2 1/2 lbs. Violet weights less since she is the most cobby. I expect the other kittens will be 3 1/2 lbs to 4 lbs when they leave for their new homes.

@@weloveourkittens my Persian & I just got back from the vet (he was born Oct 21st) ☺️ He is 1 lb 7oz. His parents were very petite so the vet wasn’t concerned.
