Fun fact: the godawful box monsters in the original FF7 were made on purpose, because Square thought players would prefer characters that looked vaguely 8-bit

It depends if you like j-rpgs, the stories are always a hit anyway, even if FF VII is not my favorite. From the ps1 era VIII and IX are way better.

Just to be clear, unless the title has a 2 or a subtitle, like ff7: crisis core or 10-2, then the stories are separate and have nothing to do with each other or the same worlds. Some people don't understand or know that, so I just wanted to let you know.

Before you play FF7R you should play ff7 crisis core. It's a prequel.

They are hit-or-miss. XIII is known for its confusing story that I personally think is crap, but VII, IX, and X are my recommended. Music is always 10/10, stories can be better at times, but I recommend you try them out.

Play original FF7 if you appreciate that the game is from 1997 it's still jawdropping to this day, just avoid any spoilers

This sounds great! If possible, could you also do "Those Who Fight Further" from the Airbuster battle in Remake as well? EDIT: Ok, never mind, I just got to the second half of the remix, and I hear it in there a bit. ^^;

And I am seriously considering opting to get a ps5 to experience the game myself so if not, I'll be back to apologize if I'm wrong and had, but if I'm right, I'll let you know the type of games I'm into and you could suggest ps5 games to play

@@Omnishredder I was referring to the chorus bit that they added in Remake's Airbuster battle theme. I didn't hear it in the first half of this remix, but then I heard it in the second half and retracted my request because of that.
