Oh yeah, and I also heard that demons were the souls of the Nephilim/Giants- who somehow got trapped without bodies to reincarnate into, and hence they hate humans… They were originally taught Magick, by the Anunnaki - yet we’re also many of us directly the offspring of at least half Anunnaki, so I never understood that, why they’d be giants and we wouldn’t etc. Confusing to say the least unless they’re aspects of elementals and our minds. Cheers

I know that's an extremely nosey question, I was just curious because of your accent. You sound like someone from down south, well down south to me, somebody who's from literally the middle of England. Good ole Birmingham. Ozzie Osborne's old neck of the woods. Haaaaa!!!! I blame him for almost everyone pronouncing Crowley's name incorrectly. In the autobiography on Crowley goes into how to say the name properly. It seems like it's actually Aleister trying to explain how the correct way to pronounce his name. Crow, like the bird. One of the first books I read about Crowley. John Symonds is the author of that autobiography on Aleister Crowley. Have you read this yourself, mate?

@@kageoashj2912 The danger is mainly in the practitioner’s mind, or perhaps more precisely, their shadow. The so-called darker forces will cause dramatic changes in psyche and the sacrifice is often severe but the results can be swift, and undeniably profound and very tangible. I cannot say they are better or more powerful. They are however, most effective for me. The church traumatized me as a child. When I began practicing Ceremonial Magick, I had blockages that never sat well with me, no matter how much work I did to overcome them. I longed for an older, more primitive, more instinctual magick. I found that in Chaos Magick, Norse Magick, and the Infernal path. I suppose the short answer is, I connect with them... kinda like why someone might hang out with certain people over others.

@@kageoashj2912 I would suggest Peter J. Carroll’s books starting with Liber Null and Psyconaut and S. Connolly’s Complete Book of Demonology... also Weaving Fate by Aidan Watcher. Those books can serve to open the gate to create your own pantheon as well as give you the techniques required to build a daily ritual practice. Learn all you can about a specific entity, their sigil and Enns. Belial and Lucifer seem particularly easy to work with for beginners on the path. Become familiar with the mythology of entities that seem to resonate with your personality, either because they are very similar to you or because they are very different and possess traits you wish to acquire.

It shows your temperament and centeredness when you said “If you don’t like my opinion…(short pause and laugh)…then maybe you should go and enjoy your own opinion.” That’s beautiful and such a correct way to dissolve the illusion of conflict. The fact others do not agree with you is not screamingly painful to you and you are leading that centeredness by example, implying that the individual who experiences pain because of differences of viewpoint is in need of some self-care. Very nice. You’re someone I would carefully listen to whether you are talking about wild animals or flowers…

“Demons may now be as rare as wolves or bears in the streets of a modern metropolis, but they are real nevertheless. The parallel is deliberate, because it emphasizes the fact that both were much more common in the past, and that in the twenty-first century your chances of encountering one is much greater outside of heavy populated urban metropolises. Another that is certain is that these creatures are certainly not ‘parts of the human brain’ as Crowley would have you believe.” - “The Keys to the Gateway of Magic: Summoning the Solomonic Archangels & Demon Princes” by Stephen Skinner and David Rankine

The biggest difficulty of encountering the truly 'super'natural is encountering it. I feel that, even going in with full belief in it, the shock of the reality will physiologically affect a person. Double so for the skeptic when forced into reconciliation. It's fair to say some law of nature made a barrier between realities. What will your reaction be, if something speaks to you or appears? An unnatural event causes a reaction that must be mastered before any communication beyond terror or fright can occur. You must be ready for the moment. How could you be worthy otherwise? Lol look at it from a demons perspective, you are unreasonable and terrified, like a bird or a bug when a human wants to be nice to them. Maybe some get bored, or aren't nice, and think little of you. They could then decide to fuck with you, like a hunter who kills birds, or a kid who squashes bugs. There is danger for the unprepared in all this. If the thing we would call a demon has intent of its own, it could have any personality possible, and virtually capable of anything considering whatever laws dictate its reality. You could have a brainless muck monster with the language of one grunt, or you could have the diabolical genius of some high achievement mephisto. What's your measure? Does it encompass all variables? One technique I will share that I work on is to be above evil and good while trying this stuff, and be the champion of both. As a human, you are creator and absolutely able to master either side. The knowledge of good and evil is a human curse, whether in belief or allegorically. It is the understanding of good and evil that we don't possess. Step one of trying is to marginalize its encompassing nature by stepping out of its circle. As a human you are infinitely more evil than any demon could be. They aren't creators, we are. Ignore the good and evil bounds .

@@luciuschrist6929 I don't assume anything exists, so I can't define them. However, if you try a little you could encounter 'something', and usually it's what's referred to as a demon. According to eastern mysticism, if you use a lower spiritual being for fulfilling your needs, eg, success in the world, power over a person, etc... then , at moment of death they will have a hold on your spirt & drag you down with them . Unlike, when one meditates on the positive universal force (as prescribed in eastern religions) , the earthly fulfilment may be slower (although your desires diminish if you’re connecting properly), & the soul ideally merges with the super consciousness light, which is the goal of all humans...

The principle of correspondence may well be the least understood of the hermetic principles. The key word used in this presentation is >control< and herein lies the seductive correspondence. You are entirely correct in that there are consequences for our actions and the spiritual death rather than the physical death should be of concern to all. Interaction with jin/demons whatever you want to call them is clearly explained by Swedenborg of the 18th century ... people should pay close attention to moral spiritual ideals as a way forward ... be very careful what you wish for with these machinations as the correspondences are real and profound though rarely discussed.

@Joseph LaGreca ... u4true ... we live in the learning place where there's always a choice as they say as we skip along between two pathways t/o life. The dialed down petagogies of the metoo self-serving ideals of what's in it for me with associated patterned power/control over others and the less popular one of service to others w/o giving up your own authority where self-improvement is in being better able to help in service to others and life itself in whatever form and to whatever extent that implies to an individual. It's not a popular notion as our world devolves into another state of being though the truth of it all is found somewhere in there.

However, it's literally changing me into a person that is walking with himself. Maybe the legions controlled by these Spirits are the ones that the Magician hasn't dealt with but you will if you call. My best advice is don't fight to let go of the things that don't serve you, because that is when the process becomes "hell". Good evoking magical people!

That quote is almost the exact opposite of the ideal way to work with demons. Sure you can treat them as contractors and just “hire” them. But to really tap into the amazing and profound depth of their gnosis and character and the alchemy they have to offer you certainly should cultivate a relationship with them. Demonic beings such as the Goetics can be some of the most wonderful and enlightening beings. Granted they hail from the primordial chaos and as such engender harsher alchemical changes and trials. In the end it’s 100% worth it in my opinion.

I followed Lon Duquette's protocols, and have also had a few online sessions with him to tweak my operation. Pretty-much the traditional, method, but not so rigidly adhering to all the tarditional details. Lon lives in my town, I hang with him every now and then; very down to Earth, practical and unpretentious. He got he hip to the context of treating them like an employee or a sheepdog. Nothing scary about them, just make sure you treat them as their manager or master.

@@lotuslicciardi5872 No. I believe the story of Solomon to be metaphorical and mythologised. @Outo Varis so, if it Is a change within ourselves that we are trying to accomplish then what are the sigils, the chants, the offerings for? Lesser key of Solomon for instance gives examples of demons that are directly associated with certain stars, planets and the courses they follow. Many other forms of magic state this too. Why? Does the cosmos affect events in our lives? Does the cosmos have a conscious? So if it is our will that we are trying to use to shape objective events, is that trying to play God? Why are sigils , crytals, chants, incense and other stuff needed? Sorry for the many questions but I find this fascinating. I've read stories of magicians that were able to fly, become invisible, all sorts of things. We also see these types of stories in Scripture of prophets taken up to heaven in a whirlwind, a firey chariot, etc.

Your last point about you thinking that demons are both inside and outside ourselves is also the way I feel it. And I believe it has its merits. In depth psychology, that's what jungian archetypes are: they exist both in us and independently from us. I also agree that, "Demons", are simply energies, and that this type of magic can be productive if those energies are well regulated with proper will and intent. Conversely those energies can be destructive if used unwisely. But I find that the case with any tool or force. Therefore sober thought and caution are always warranted in these matters. Great video.

I started actively recognizing the truth of demons last year after big semester of research in Gnostic myths and esoteric philosophy. Although they are part of my Catholic faith, I really just ignored them and the Magics with which they are associated. Due to my Gnostic studies, the inherent dualities of the world started manifesting before me, and I had a really big psychological collapse because of them. With dualism, is God exists, so too does Satan; angels and then demons. How do we interact with the extremes of mystical dualities? The question led me to Richard Cavendish and eventually to your channel. I really enjoy your videos and this was especially exciting for me!

The Mind from which everything came. It's my (very amateur) opinion that, as minds created in the image of God, we are as kings in the realm of spirits, capable of wielding divine authority, and it is this that makes magick work.

@@nataliev491 Do you know what fractals are? The smallest part of the fractal is a picture of the whole of it. As above - God- unlimited consciousness, so below - you - individual consciousness. As within - inside you, so without - outside of you. Or when Bible says God created human based on his image - it's not about head, legs, ect. We represent power of unlimited consciousness by being created by it, and being it at the same time. When years ago I experienced ego death, I remember after really not nice feeling of dying, suddenly I felt and saw at the same time, that I'm surrounded by warm unlimited light, full of love, knowledge, harmony. And it felt like I'm floating as a particle on the unlimited ocean of light, realising that I'm one with this ocean. It's really difficult to describe that, since our bodies and mind aren't familiar with that experience. I felt like am part of that ocean, and I am the ocean. i believe that "as above, so below" holds the key to magick. It is the honest way of channeling our will from the higher realms to the physical world, from the divine to the mundane. I also think it teaches us that what we cultivate within ourselves will reflect in our external reality.

I really enjoyed Duquette's book on the Thoth deck so it's great that you brought in another of his works here. I'm with you in respect for his work. That subtitle really touches on my wonderings about why people would appeal to any being perceived as outside the self (angels or daemons) rather than seek the solutions within. Thank you for making this video on this topic! 💗

+Foolish Fish Hello, I just found your channel and I'm glad I did. I don't normally bother with internet occultism, but your videos are different. Your videos are interesting and you have a nice, pleasant way about you, in addition to a narrating style that is laid back and easy to listen to. And you manage to have an occult themed channel without coming across as some arrogant know-it-all like so many people in the occult do. You, my friend, are a breath of fresh air. You state early in the video that it's just your opinions, something many occultists don't mention because many are narcissists who need to sound like some all-knowing, expert guru that has all of the only "true" answers. Really tho, opinions, theories, and personal experiences are all anyone can say. I can relate my own personal experiences but the occult is different for everyone, and I believe it's impossible for any living, breathing human to know for sure exactly what demons and angels are. With research, practice, and personal experience we can know a lot of what they aren't and dig into their origins and the origins of their names and what they mean. We can call on them, work with them, interact with them, and get our desired results. I don't think we can truly figure them out tho. Anyway, enjoyed the video and look forward to watching more of your content. Regards ~ Cthulhu

It's a variation of Monad, meaning intelligence or soul. They are one and the same, daemons are US in non-corporeal form. They are the governing intelligences that make up our subconscious. If they are misleading you it's because on a deeper level you commanded them to do so for your own good. We can also be misled by our own misinterpretation of what they're trying to show or tell us :)

@Universalis Ted You grossly misinterpreted what I said and what the human subconscious is. I'm not talking about the brain or anything physical. I'm talking about the A.I. that governs every internal function in the human body. We (including you) aren't aware of those functions in objective consciousness, but we know they are there and doing something. That places them in the realm of the subconscious. A good way to understand it is the subconscious is the Human operating system. The modern computer definition of the word "daemon" sums it up pretty well. "An automated program or script running in the background with no terminal interface" What that means is they are doing their thing automatically with no user input. It also means you don't have access to your own programming from objective consciousness, which in Human terms is a terminal interface. I agree that the word "subconscious" has been both misused and misunderstood but it's what we've got to work with. It DOES work, if you think conceptually and don't try to make it fit something it's not. It's a lot harder to define what they actually are, even when dealing with them directly. Individually they are living algorithms, but they are also US behind the flesh. They make up our mental body or imagination. What's behind the meat body is the mental body and it is the mental that controls the physical, not the other way around. This means if we want to change anything in our world it has to be done at the mental level. This makes a lot more sense when you realize where all "reality" takes place... in our imagination. Root access to our own programming can only be achieved by entering a quantum state, a crossing (christ) of our objective and subjective states. You have to be awake and asleep at the same time, alive and dead at the same time. This isn't even possible without their help... remember who is in control. The system is also keyed, and there are different keys to access different subsystems. These keys are musical and the locks are resonance gates. You gain these keys by completing the "objectives" of objective consciousness. This is all designed to prevent unauthorized access by individuals trying to cheat the system. If you understand any of that, I'd be willing to share more. I'm guessing tho by the flippancy of your reply, that you're only interested in your own point of view :)

As someone who walks the middle path of the tree of life and death, i do have some advice for beginner ceremonial magickians or any who dont know. Working on improving the psychic and astral senses are incredibly important if you are going to be working with spirits , Angels and the Demonic, however moreso the demonic. if you cant hear a spirit , how do you know what it wants , or what it would like to say or speak to you about. Spirits are people to, treat them how you wish to be treated ;We people of this earth , are spirits too. Anyone who is getting into doing Ceremonial magick of the Goetia , just know that you're reality is created from within , your deepest part the core of beliefs , if you believe demons are gonna hurt you or kill or steal your soul , theyre gonna be like that, just so you know. All of the constraining and commands and what not i highly recommend not to do that .Dont believe all of the religious Dogma about them ; those lies have been spread because of how much knowledge and power you can obtain through working with them , since the demonic will lift the veil of illusion from your face. and story time , My cousin contacted me once about his friend that had conjured a demon through ceremonial magick ,she summoned one of the Goetic spirits , demanding things |"and being incredibly disrespectful and offensive im sure"| and brought 5 of her friends with her to do the ritual. since then for a couple of years shes would get claw marks on her body whenever someone talked about it. |side note, her 5 friends were eventually killed 1 by 1 initially sometime after the ritual.| I gave her some advice and a task to do in order to make all that tormenting stop, i said "light a candle and call out for the spirit, say sorry for whatever you did and im sure the spirit will forgive you" Ever since then the issue was concluded and peace was once again about. so sometimes all it takes is an apology. and as far as magickal practitioners out in the world , alot are fake , and there is alot of misinformation out there. be Skeptical. to learn more about demons , i recommend a video called Secrets of the demonic hierarchy by EA Koetting , he is a real black magickian . i recommend that video to any practitioner really.

Having read both Lon Milo Duquette and Gordon Winterfield strongly seem to disagree with the personality of demons and how we should relate to them. Winterfield writes that they should not be seen as employees but rather royal guard. The difference being that we give gifts instead of payment because we want and can. He also says that they are not dumb imps and should not be treated as such. The second ritual in his book is also to build a relationship. It seems that both have conjured and interacted with the version of demons they sat out and expected to meet.

@@FoolishFishBooks Yes I just watched the other video in which you expanded on that part right after commenting on this one and agreed 100% with that point you made. That is important life work. But the excerpt you read about the man trying to get Mary to like him is pretty much what most people these days will be trying to do with these beings. As for using their energies, wouldn't that just be having self-discipline? Taming the beast inside essentially? A person could simply do a water fast or withhold themselves from worldly pleasures or habits for that. I don't think someone has to do a ritual for that, or invoke or evoke a demon. But maybe I'm not seeing the full scope of it.

You say "withhold themselves from worldly pleasures" as if that were the most straightforward thing in the world... Ritual can be thought of as a way of _enabling_ exactly that. It's the process, not the aim ;) . Also, "taming the beast inside" is exactly what we're talking about, except that you approach it one "beast element" (demon) at a time, in an organised, methodical way. Finally, take a moment to re-listen to that Mary story which is ultimately a cautionary tale to people who would use demons in this way. And there are plenty who do, I don't disagree! :)

Denis, a few questions if you will. I am, out of pure curiosity, trying to gain some understanding of the occult, and you seem knowledgable! These questions are going to be coming from a rather curious but ultimately secular, atheistic (and currently ignorant) mind, so please go easy on me! 1) Do you believe demons are literal entities? 2) Where ARE demons? Where do they reside? 3) In popular culture, occultism is devil-worship, the antithesis of Christianity. Through my limited research so far, it appears to me more pagan than anything - what is occultism really in relation to Christianity, other mainstream religions, and paganism? 4) Do you believe rituals to summon or commune with demons ‘work’, and how do they? I have so many questions but don’t want to be overbearing or presume too much. Really appreciate any light you can shed! Sam

Hi @DasKatze500! Hopefully my response on studio.kzfaq.infoBGSegZB6Fhg/comments goes some way towards answering some of this.. 1) Yes. And no. And there's no difference. Not that it MAKES no difference, there actually IS no difference. 2) To quote Lon Milo Duquette, "It's all in your head, you just don't realise how big your head is." The "head" he's talking about isn't the skin-and-bone-covered brain we normally think of as our "head". He's talking about our Mind, within which everything we experience is experienced. Demons included. 3) Until VERY recently (and even nowadays in a vast majority of Western and Middle-Eastern minds), anything that isn't sanctioned by the main religion endorsed by the state is "The Devil". Occultism has MANY strands stemming from many religions. In the West, the main traditions come down from Jewish mysticism, from Norse religion, from Pagan druidism, and what they call "Traditional WItchcraft", or the "Crooked Path", which is essentially raw shamanism without a specific pantheon, but rather a direct approach to whatever spirits are present locally (not to be confused with Wicca, which I wouldn't call occult, though I guess it's a mostly harmless introduction for beginners) 4) Yes, and I think it boils down to giving yourelf permission to notice the entities much more than actual summoning, but that's just me speculating.

I appreciate you doing this video Denis, particularly as it relates to our previous discussions. I feel that there's so much more to be said and delved into re. this topic...where to start!? As a random thought, I think that one of the reasons that practitioners have so many divergent opinions on the nature of demons, is that the entities invoked/evoked are not always whom they claim to be. Josephine McCarthy (for one) points out that parasitical entities often waylay the neophyte under the guise of being a higher spirit, and many of these parasites have the requisite powers to fulfil the function/office of the desired 'demon'. This can obviously make things tough for all but the most powerful & experienced magicians. Lacking a proper 'map' of the what's/where's and power parameters of these beings also makes it a risky undertaking. Can we really comprehend the scope of these entities? Perhaps only a fragment of their true power can bleed into the physical realm, giving us a false sense of who is holding the cards in the deal. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts if/when you decide to practise Gordon Winterfield's techniques. All the best.

Based on my own personal accounts and what was said in this video, I no longer believe that high or low magick have any distinctive characteristics. Invoking demons by definition should be high magick.

Perhaps a good analogy would be one of a dog. We have tamed wolves around our children and sleeping in our beds. We call them dogs and love them dearly. But without boundaries and a committed, caring and respectful owner they would revert to their wild nature, join a pack and attack the weak among us. Now demons are not dogs and we may not be able to own them, but it seems to me that the basic tenets of this analogy apply. If one is easily led and has wishy-washy boundaries, it is possible to be exploited - just like in the “real” world. If you would rather be coddled and gently coaxed through your life lessons, then demon contact can seem harmful and scary. If you are the type who sees value in tearing off the bandage and examining the wound, then you might be on track. Because a lot of times we get a lesson instead of a Lexus.

I see the Deamon Pantheon as just that ...like folks enjoy the Arch Angels to fix or help or heal or harm .The one big difference in the Goetic Pantheon is the Xi'an church got a hold of them to corrupt there meanings and talents .I find this group as a lost treasure now starting to be dug up and used again.

Before one takes on the challenge of trying to tame and reform a demon, one should probably get a bit of practice by trying to tame and reform a serial killer or a rabid dog. Once you've succeeded with those, then it might be OK to move on to the demon taming...

Or perhaps all that’s needed is a change of your own perspective. Demons aren’t inherently malevolent. Infact the majority of the well known ones are invested in the spiritual evolution of the human race.

Hey guys! I evoked 3 incubi/succubi demons for a ritual and felt them in my body. I would say it's pretty safe as long as you are not scared, you speak out the terms and conditions before and cleanse yourself and your space before doing the practice. And educate yourself about which demon you're summoning.

This blows my mind. After the video, I looked up Demons of Magick and read reviews for at least 15 minutes, and they were acknowledgement after acknowledgement. I bought it. Lol. I have some questions. 1) Why do the spirits do what we ask? Are they wired to be pleasers, to experience some kind of satisfaction or contentment? Is it a simple barter of favor for favor? 2) Can one spirit bind and cast out another spirit? Thank you for any thoughts.

So, I have answers for my first question as I read. In the natural order of life, we are as kings to them, and , "Although it is often assumed that demons resent working for us, they are eager for their existence to have a purpose." At this point, I have the impression that this kind of magick lends itself well to natural leaders and should probably be avoided by the meek. Edit: At this early stage for me, I think demon magic is like the physical tool that we call a firearm. It can be used in service of any goal, productive or destructive. It's dangerous enough to require a safety switch and to learn safe handling. It's a serious and heavy responsibility that not everyone wants or can measure up to.

More content in answer to my first question: The practitioner joins himself to God in the opening, and thus commands the demon with the Creator's authority. Then the magician's will is infused into the demon. "I now see the destruction in flame as a moment of alchemy, where the paper becomes heat, flame, and ash, and your will is combined with that of the demon, to change reality in accordance with your desire. The future you have chosen is inevitable."

Update. I hesitated to begin for a few months, and began when I felt certainty that I had the blessing of the All. That plus the GoM approach gave me the confidence to act without fear. Later, I learned the importance of not asking, but using calm, commanding presence, as a good king would. I had only one instance, a few nights ago, of something attempting to disturb my sleep. Even in the dream I felt no fear, and after several awakenings I realized it was more than an ordinary bad dream, so I did the archangel protection that begins the ritual, and then slept like a baby. I don't think it was a Goetia demon. I think it was just some opportunistic piss-ant that snuck in after an earlier ritual. I have since bought a half dozen more GoM books, of various types. Thanks FF. You got me started in my occult journey. When the Wealth Magick kicks in I will remember you.

When i was doing all three rituals from Gordon winterfeild for the past two years and im realizing that it feels like a twist on feeding your demons by Lama sutralioni ? When I ask or give my negative feelings a form and add name and ask what it wants and if and how it will help me such it makes me conclude actually maybe the 72 demons may be servitors ??? Of Solomon?

Yeah I was already thinking something like "the house always wins." I mean, if we take this seriously we're talking about dealing with something inherently more intelligent than people. Despite this text's focus on demons being "parts of ourselves" there is clearly an external intelligence involved and I personally don't feel smart enough to wrangle it.

The ideas presented here were practiced during the time that Christian Crusaders were spreading conquest. No circles are required, no threats or coercion to intimidate a spirit is needed. When aggression is used then that’s when spirits will wreck havoc in your personal life and appear to be the things of nightmares. Demons are just the old gods that Christians classified as evil. The old Gods guard my home, protect my family and bring me peace. Read books by S.Connely

I am a thestic satanist and demonoltar demons are my Gods i love , revence and respect them aswell as Lord Satan , just one thing satanists and demonlotars we do not use the circle in the same way as ignorant ppl did back in the 13 or 14th centry we use the circle as an elemtal circle not protective as we have our own relationships with the demons and satan which is based on trust, love and respect the tranigle we would use a focal power point for the demon to enter not to command or constrain the demon in any way ( as they way more powerful then we are in any case) but thanks for your video .
