The key to trouble free serving is all in the threading. In this video I show the correct way to thread the Baby Lock 5260 Serger and I also explain Presser Foot Tension and how important it is to adjust properly. If you are having trouble with a server grabbing onto your fabric it is not a matter of "dropping down" your feed dogs as I have never encountered a Serger whose feed dogs are able to raise and lower, yet. When you have issues with fabric feeding, on a Serger,it is typically due to not enough or too much presser foot tension. In this video I show you how to adjust that tension and a tip on how to put the tension BACK to it's original position. All you need is some red nail polish to mark the tension dial on 2 sides and do the same 2 marks on the outside housing around the presser foot tension dial.
