I love the simplicity of this. Sometimes you can get overwhelmed just using lots of stuff. This is a 3 ingredient mix..lol love it. ❤

My art room is off limits to handsome hubby. He thinks it is junk. He said if I live to be 110 and started crafting today every day I wouldn't make a dent in my good stuff. 😂 he can't see the sleeping beauties lying every where. ❤LOL. He lives for pizza and sports.

good morning brandy! dark o'clock and it is rob's birthday today...woot woot...we are off to berkeley to eat sushi (his favorite...not mine) and to get that handsome man a fun hat at the berkeley hat company....a fun day planned...and...my point is...life is layered...it would be so boring if it were just one layer...right my friend? hope life is grand...heading to missouri for a workshop in september...might you be able to come and play with us? patricia and would love to hug on you!

I loved this video. So helpful for me as I don’t have many tools, but I have paint. I’m slowly buying and collecting more stuff. My art room looks like an artist works there.

an oldie but a goodie my friend, and the moral of the story is....drum roll please?...the number of ingredients that you have to work with, is NOT the most important factor when creating art. The most important factor is your own imagination. All three backgrounds are beautiful but the most beautiful thing is your gorgeous imagination. Love you, big hugs!!!! 🍃😁😍🤗🍃

I had to have it sent to My Sisters address because unfortunately I have had some Porch Pirates and I couldn’t take a chance on the “Girl with the Painted Hands” ending up in Hands other than My Own! of course soal! equal parts of gesso and modpodge....and then add enough baby powder (or cornstarch) to make it the texture you would like...and ta dah! go create, go play, go have fun soal!

LorriMarie....one of my greatest challenges is figuring out what substrat I should use. So it stalls me. Why can't I just grab something and go for it. Anything? Afterall. Everything sleeps until we wake it up. LOL❤😵

Those are great,... love them... How do you get past the “don’t want to cover it up” feeling, when you’re putting your next layer on, or when You’re putting your focal images on? .... You actually, don’t seem to have that issue, so never mind. ;)

it is such a great question phoebe! i have so much fun with the first layer...and then i do not see it any more...it is in the past....i then create a layer in the 'present'...then that layer becomes the 'past'....and i start the next layer....the present....well...you get the idea phoebe! thank you for checking in! see you on the table phoebe!
