When I saw Three Days Grace opening for Five Finger Death Punch in November, this was the song they opened with, and it was awesome.

This song hits hard every time. Came from nothing after my parents both fucking off when I was 16-17. Crawled through a non-stop shit storm of negative comments from so called friends saying I'd never amount to anything. Became an alcoholic and drug addict. Eventually got married to a woman who was another naysayer in my life, always telling me I could never do anything right, always controlling what i could and couldn't do by guilt tripping me whenever i wanted to break out of the negative mold I had created for myself. I lived like that for 10 years. I finally got fed up with all the negativity and bullshit and got divorced, started taking my life in my own hands. Today, 2 years after divorce and thinking my world was ending, I'm with an amazing woman who constantly encourages me to do what I want, who tells me she knows I can do it even when I feel I can't. I'm working my dream job, and have nothing but a hopeful future of so many possibilities ahead of me. I feel like my life is just starting at 38, and I don't care about that at all. I'm living. Don't give up. No matter how shitty life is and how hard it beats you down, Fight back. Scream if you have to, cry, and take control of your life. Don't let others tell you how you can't do it. Cut those fuckers out of your life and surround yourself with people who believe in you. Even when you don't believe in yourself.

For anyone who doesn't know, Adam has another band now. Saint Asonia. They are a great band with great songs. With that said, this is Three Days Grace. And Matt is doing a fantastic job, in my opinion. Keep up the jammin' tunes \m/

My mom and us kids take care of my dad with dementia. It’s so hard and gut wrenching to see him like this - he was a man’s man. But we keep climbing the mountain.

I never realised how many people there are that suffer depression. Me personally, I've always just loved this kind of music since 80s rock/metal music. With youtube and the ability to express yourself it's crazy now how many people use these bands like Linkin Park, Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Puddle of Mudd, Crossfade, Nickelback, Saliva, Godsmack, Switchfoot, The Exies, Lifehouse, Coldplay and so many others to relieve their depression. 20 years ago not a thought crossed my mind, I was jamming like crazy to all this but then later in life you realise people have it rough and they look at all that same music in a completely different way. Good luck to everyone out there, enjoy life and what there is to offer. Fight hard never give up!! And rock n roll of course 🎸

I remember when this song first came out...I deal with suicidal thoughts/depression and my art teacher was the one who helped me out through my dark times, anyways... she heard this song on the radio and said that it reminded her of me... and I’ve known Three Days Grace for a while before the Outsider album and when she told me it was by them I was excited! I took a listen and fast forward 2 years later it’s still the song I play on repeat. It gives me this message saying that even though you feel like dying in your darkest times, remember to just keep climbing and fighting. I love this song so much and it means everything to me! 💖💕

Three Days Grace was a band I listened throughout middle school, by the time I got into high school was when Matt took over after Adam, I’ve never had any discontent with the way the band is now. Sure I miss Adam, but what I’m glad about was how the band was able to keep going and produce some awesome songs like this one

Man this song reminds me of what it feels like to be a blue collar worker. I've had the same job for the last 10 years, it's physical labor but pays far beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of. It's aloud my wife to only have to work a couple days a week and stay home with our daughter. It's provided us a life I'm really proud of and I'm thankful. But I'm getting older, my back is hurting a lot more often from the heavy lifting. I wake up at 4 am, I can barely keep my eyes open and in the evenings, I can barely keep my eyes open haha. I'm not complaining but I know that I'm not the only one that feels like we're climbing an impassable mountain and tomorrow we wake up and do it all again! Seriously though, I love my life and I'm a lucky guy to have people so special they make me want to climb that mountain.

This song popped up on my shuffle and I had sadly forgotten about it… but god damn man, this song has everything you need. If you’re still battling suicidal thoughts and tendencies just fucking fight, as long as your blood is still pumping you should be fighting with everything you have to be happy to enjoy your life. There is so much death already and you have so, so many other days to die. If you’ve got a pulse then fight with everything you have to achieve the things that make you happy. Don’t look back on anyone or the people who fucked you up because they need to stay gone not you! God damn this song is legendary.
