BOURBON HIGHBALL
2 oz/60 ml Bourbon
4 oz/122 ml Ginger Ale
Method
1 Add ice to the Highball glass.
2 Build In order of the Ingredients listed.
3. Garnish with a Lemon slice.
BOURBON WHISKEY SMASH
8-10 Mint Leaves
.75 oz/22.5 ml Lemon Juice
.5 oz/15 ml Simple Syrup
2 oz/60 ml Bourbon
Method
1. Add all ingredients to the shaker tin.
2. Shake with ice for 10-15 seconds.
3. Fine strain over fresh ice.
4. Garnish with a mint sprig.
BOURBON WHISKEY SOUR
.5 oz/15 ml Simple Syrup
1 oz/30 ml Lemon Juice
2 oz/60 ml Bourbon
2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
1 Egg White (optional)
Method
1. Add all ingredients to the shaker tin.
2. Shake without ice for 10-15 seconds.
3. Shake with ice for 10-15 seconds.
4. Fine strain over fresh ice.
5. Garnish with an Orange slice and a Maraschino Cherry.

I dont drink anymore bc it’s highly inflammatory to me with my arthritis and autoimmune disorder however, when I drink, my new favorite is bourbon. If I’m gonna drink I want the best.

Awesome cocktails ! My favorite is the Whiskey Sour but the ginger ale highball and whiskey smash are also great and very refreshing! That foam on the whiskey sour pour though 😮

@@boozeontherocks I’d have to say the whiskey sour, and I usually do them with Bourbon but not often with egg white. But I’ve been really enjoying some scotch and ginger ale lately, nice and refreshing highball. I should have a Bourbon and ginger ale like you did. It’s nice to try different styles of whiskey for the same cocktails 🍹

Hi David. Liked and subbed. I watch lot of your vids. Just haven’t commented in a while. Just want to ask you do you “like” every cocktail you make in your videos ? Because that’s what I see. I am a hobby mixologist and I don’t like half the cocktails I make watching KZfaq videos.

Hello, actually for the most part yes, its pretty rare that I don't like the cocktails I make. There have been very few cocktails that I did not not like. Generally I try to make things that people will like.

Sure. If you want use a vanilla syrup that would work well.

Question. I don’t typically have mint leaves around the house, but I do have some mint syrup in my bar fridge. How much of the syrup should I use in place of the mint leaves if I want to make a Bourbon Smash?

I wouls use the same amount of mint syrup that you use for the simple syrup. it will do the same thing and give you that miont flavour.

Definitely. If you are serving anyone else. Never touch the ice. But if you are at home and making a drink for yourself. As long as upur hands are clean. Go for it.
