@@cloudnine3573 It's not really a matter of being sunburnt. I've downright never gotten sunburnt in my life and I definitely notice a difference when I started wearing sunscreen. It's more that sunlight deals a lot of damage to your skin, destroying oils and collagen on skin that leads to rapid aging and increase risk of skin cancer (though admittably research in that field is under pretty heavy debate rn, especially for people with darker skin)

Luca's lack of knowledge is questionable, except for the shampoo and conditioner thing because that method can genuinely work depending on your hair type. I stopped using shampoo first thing a few years ago because I've got curly hair that tangles easily and putting shampoo on first would just end up drying it out, tangling it and making it a nightmare to get my hands through for the conditioner even though I always brush it out before I get in the shower. If you start with conditioner, your hair stays silkier and less dry while you put the shampoo in. You can just put a bit of conditioner back in at the end to replace what the shampoo stripped out, but even that's not really necessary from my experience. My hair comes out better now than it did when I washed it the "right" way, so Luca technically wasn't wrong about the order it just probably wasn't the right one for his hair specifically.

I don't blame Luca tbh, some people just aren't taught how to wash their hair properly by their parents, and people just expect you to know. When I had my ✨twinky femboy awakening✨ and started browsing beauty content, it was such an eye-opener for me. Because my parents literally just handed me the shampoo and expected me to figure it out, not telling me how often to wash my hair, nor how to massage it into the hair, and never even mentioning conditioner at all. Edit: I was sick when I wrote this, and made some speling mistaeks lol

The reason they said skin care was kind of not that good without sunscreen is the fact that the sun really does do a lot of damage on the skin. What is that about sunscreen? Do they mean in summer if you go to the beach? Never heard of people normally using sunscreen.

Ngl, it's been years since I've used sunscreen, I don't get burned easily and never had any problems with my skin afterwards The only problem that ever occured to me, was a slight heatstroke this year

Wait. Theres a process and an order of use to shampoo and conditioner? I just put large amounts of each + scented bodywash etc all in the tub and mix it into the water. And showers? I just use body wash. Although I shower like twice a day.

Depends a lot on the length and type of hair that you have but the general answer is that yeah everyone SHOULD, it's a quick and easy to step to ensure that you have healthier hair.

idk why but i feel slightly uncomfortable looking at pomus face up close because her teeth dont seem to be visibly separated, and if you were to push on them slightly youd feel that your pushing on one singular tooth and it scares me

To be fair, there are some women out there just as clueless about the extensive news of skin care, like myself lol, its def not something I pay that much heavy attention to, hell the concept of using sunscreen of all things on a daily basis is nutty as hell to me, can't even remember the last time I put sunscreen, maybe that one time I went to the beach a long time ago lol. But is that really necessary? Like who realistically spends that much time outside just in the sun, on a daily basis, that seems a bit much for me, but I am pale as a ghost so who knows lol

SO sun rays has two kind of UV rays, UVB and UVA. UVBs are responsible for tanning and sun burns. They make up only 5% of sun rays and are only there if it's sunny. UVAs however are responsible for skin aging. They make up 95% of sun rays and they can even penetrate windows. These rays are present even in shitty weather. The thing is, in skincare, sunscreen is mostly used to slow down skin aging from UVAs, and not really to prevent sunburns from UVBs. I used to have a skin care routine and all, but got lazy and narrowed it down to the bare essentials: Morning : cleanser, then sunscreen Evening : cleanser then moisturizer (or I'll just apply micellar water if I'm REALLY lazy) So yeah, I'd say it's pretty important to wear sunscreen, even as a guy (like me). Oh and you have to get an actual decent sunscreen (i.e some asian ones) and not the shitty western ones that leave an oily mess on your face.
