Even if it was just training, DO IT RIGHT :) The piano will be trash by these hard bump hits. And don't do this, use shoulder dollies instead that reduce the weight 10 times. You only need 2 guys.

Nice job, I have a smaller 300lb one in the basement of a house with carpet. Problem is the stairs have a turn with a 5' landing. There will be 4 of us and we are a junk removal company so in good shape. Any thoughts on the best way? Thanks!

They could've taken off the kick board (lifts out) and the top (2 pins) and saved quite a bit of weight before moving it.

Honestly it probably would have been easier had they just lifted it and carried it up. Those uprights are not super heavy.

How did they get it on that slant in the first place?

Piano with out cover piano board do not protect piano and heavy hit on stairs,so you r move trash or kill the house
