Beautiful video bro 🙏 They say nothing worth doing is not worth doing poorly at first. 🙌 ... & don't for a second think that your handtool work is anything close to poor, It really looks like you've been at it for years!! I love that little reference block trick, I'm going to incorporate that immediately.

I hear ya bro, preaching to the choir 🤣👏 Sharpening definitely becomes easier & more frequent (or more difficult to ignore) if you have your sharpening gear set up permanently at a station ... or at least set up on a station that you can just pick up & drop on your bench. The more obstacles & resistance you can eliminate the better .... I say all that as someone who currently needs to sharpen their chisels 🤣
