Notes : 1. Understand that suffering is part of life 2. Tune into the good parts of your life. Remember those parts of your life. 3. Ask yourself, 'Is this helping me or harming me?' 4. Being resilient is accepting your vulnerabilities. 5. Other people matter

I think serenity is a part of resilience. I’m an atheist, so I say a modified “Serenity Prayer” using the words “May I have the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.”

This was powerful! I'm so sorry for your losses The message here is brilliant for resilience. Thank you! I haven't lost my children, but I have had some very tramatic things happen to me throughout my life. I do beleive you have to have resilience. Blessings to you 🙏🧡

Nations who are resilient take care of their weak and represent people of all abilities. When you see yourself represented, it's easier to be resilient. Three tools to help: 1. Understand that suffering is part of life. Tough things happen to us all ❤️ Adversity is common. 2. Tune in to the good. We're really good at looking at the crappy bits of news but it's important to counterbalance it on the good stuff. Resilient people are careful where they focus their attention. 3. Are my thoughts helping or harming myself? Lastly, the most important thing for resilience is a community around you to help you through trauma. Other people matter.

She touched on the importance of diverse representation and why all people need to feel seen. Would love to see a research-based video focussing specifically on that to share with people who dismiss its importance as "identity politics" and "PC culture". People in deeply interpersonal professions like teaching are doing deep harm to some of the people they work with when they work with the attitude of not seeing difference.

Beautiful and necessary reminder to look within and beyond whatever tragedy/suffering is happening. I feed the birds and stray cats, possums, raccoons and to see them gives me such deep joy....it's symbiotic.

very interesting topic. I lost many of my family members, my parents, two lovely cats, and a dog , in the past several years. The only technique I can use to make myself more comfortable is to focus on doing a lot of things (watching news, political discussion ) that can distract my mind from keeping to think of them.

Set reasonable and worthwhile goals and move toward them one step at a time. As long as you know you have the right goal do not give up no matter what happens. Establishing goals will help a person focus on a specific task and can help build the resilience to move forward in the face of challenges.

Resilient is the thing that needs to be percolate through the edu system of every nation...and we can see this is happened recently in one country....Peoples Republic of China....The society in that country is so tough and shows the resilient form by literally deleting the most infectious protein particle causing pandemic....and helping each other as a community.... I mean if there is real democratic system exits on the planet in todays time....this should be included as how to fix the problem with more tough way initially which yields effective results at the end....coz democracy should take all good things... And its this system only that rest all country are facing mismanagement of pandemic....the loss of resiliency.... Cost of democracy....
