If you're Korean or close to someone Korean, you've probably experienced an act of 정 (jeong/情).
Considered a part of the Korean DNA, 정 (jeong) includes attachment, closeness, sympathy, passion and heart. But it's much more than that...
We asked three #KoreanAustralians to have a go at explaining the concept of '정' (jeong).

Thanks so much for this vid! Just started learning Korean out of a new found love for the language. I've always been fascinated by the different types of Greek love. Feel like English lacks in the proper verbal expression for this, and I was curious as to what special or different definitions of love Korean Culture has. I think I found my new favorite word- besides Pigonhaeyo (not sure my romantization is correct and I don't have a Korean key board for my PC yet, but I think you'll get me.) I use that last one almost daily. 🤣 Thanks to you, I think I've finally found what's drawn me to the Korean culture the most- Jeong. Kamsahamnida!

I thought the guy did excellent job explaining the word jeong it’s a very difficult word to explain. There is no singular diction to accurately describe what jeong is.
