Three Les Pauls:
A: £80 Westley w/Alnico 3 vintage style hand wound pickups
B: £200 DooDad w/Alnico 2 vintage style hand wound pickups
C: Tom Doyle Time Machine Gibson Les Paul w/Tru Clone Pickups
I played all three through the same rig, just to see how different they would sound. I played the same song with both bridge and neck of all three, a little badly because it was unusually cold in the workshop that day! Not trying to pretend its a perfect test or that it tells us anything profound.
But can you tell which one is which just from the audio?
