People walk up to the horse and first thing they do is put their hand out..would they do that to a strange Dog?? Get bitten..learn yr lesson " this is not a petting zoo" Go Away!!!!

....I'm going to do some self evaluation. I felt this was the weirdest group of visitors. It was like they didn't even know why they were there let alone what they were witnessing. They even seemed oblivious of each other.

You can almost sort out which personalities will mess with the guards and horses by their approach and demeanor

I think its time the oriental visitors were told to stop their ridiculous behaviour near the horses.

Anyone else appreciate the guard watching out for the unattended children by holding the reins up where she could. She took the parents responsibility to herself. Well done that guard!

Very professional guard. The one hand action, controlling the horse's head so people could get great photos, or keeping pawing hands off the reins, very admirable. Sure would be nice to hear a respectful "thank you" after you've barged in or fluttered in like an idiot, for a photo

None of them said ‘thank you’ to the guard, as if they were just a statue or prop instead of a person on duty. 🥺 I get that they wouldn’t respond (because they’re on duty), but I still think it’s only polite to acknowledge them and show appreciation.

I know it's a bit mean, but I hope more horses try to Nip daft tourists, like the horses Ormonde and Raden often do. They quickly let tourists know, the Risks they take. Reins are for Riders, not Tourists !!🇬🇧

There is a clear advice hanging. Why are so many so stupid to ignore it? Why do they feel the need to stand so close to the horse, touching him? WHY?😳

It's pure ignorance,, they have no idea how serious it is to grab a horses reins. General public if they are not used to horses just have no idea, they just think it's a strap. If you visit Horse Guards, you must gen up on the DOS AND DONTS. then you won't end up in trouble.

I see there are a few people offering their children to the horse today . Are they trying to get money from Law suits ? I wonder sometimes, if some toutists believe the horses are Public property, the way they treat them !? I am aware that the Soldiers and horses are very well trained, but still, they should not have to put up with the Reckless Stupid things that some tourists do. If tourists can't visit here without Good manners, Politeness and some basic Commonsense, then they should not be Welcome here. A lot more Responsibility must be put with Tourists, for their behaviour. Tourism is Not more important than our fine Horses and Military. 🇬🇧

I have never seen such stupid people. They stand there and watch horse for a few minutes and see horse is biting but yet they go close enough for him to bite them as well. Really!!!!???
