It will be nice once they get that runway extended. I would sometimes park and watch the planes take off and it seems like they are cutting it close when taking off. Nice vid.

Well... for 2011 to 2013, you won't have to guess which runway. They will close the south runway during the 3 years for repairs. (It's one of the reasons why they are extending the north)

yes i go there to portland every summer. do you know that little part where the elevator near the yellow cones are? go there and you wont miss a take off. another thing last time i went there a co pilot said that 10L 28R is a very very short runway yet that is the one people use the most

Is there a parking garage where you take these videos at? Tampa has one but we don't get anything special like any 74s or 340s, especially not F-15s.

there is a way to see both runways and not miss one plane taking off. and i didn't say landing i said taking off. if you already know be careful.

@zildjiandrummr12 sorry for wasting your time but at 0:02 there is a high pitch whooshing and humming noise everytime i went to PDX and would fly to oklahoma as a little kid and i would hear that noise

United was in the process of retiring their 737 fleet. There is no sense in repainting an aircraft that is due to be grounded.
