Yeah, this is a really good film. I'm re-watching my top 10 favorite Jeffrey Hunter films. This one rates 9th on my list (which puts it as his 3rd best Western on my list, after "The Searchers" 1956 and "Sergeant Rutledge" 1960).

A really good movie, enjoyed this watch. Jeffrey Hunter (Johnny) was such a handsome young actor, Mitzi Gaynor a beautiful and successful actress. Jeffrey Hunter departed so young.

Nice Ending...... put 2 rest a whole lot loose ends. Not ethical. But only Hollywood's story tellers can manage nice endings, a crooked sherriff that wanted 2 simplify things. "Paper work." Nothing else. Nothing 4 himself

1:12:50 Sheriff says his job is to prosecute. Sheriffs don't prosecute; they make arrests and leave the court's DA to prosecute.
@robertphillips30784 жыл бұрын
Kitty Hawk way back then no D.A's, wrong century. Old west the Sheriff's bought the charges & judges, judged. If the town was 2 small 2 have it's own judge they waited 4 the circuit judge.
