I also forgot that my Future tab is something I wouldn't want to live without. It has a spreadsheet for each grade (one per child), so that when I come across a resource I'd love to check out for a future grade, I can jot it down and get it out of my brain. It also gives me a place to see how history streams/cycles might lay out over the years, etc. (In pencil of course!) ;)

Encouragement! I keep a few printouts that speak words of encouragement to me and also words of encouragement that I can give to my children for THOSE days!

Two things that are vital to my system are: 1. A tab for each organization, club, sport, group that we're a part of. Every paper goes in there, not in piles on my counter, crumbled on my car floorboard, or lost in a black hole. 2. A tab for the CURRENT week. I have a term planner for lesson plans, but each week the current week's plans get written on a weekly planner and moved over to my Current tab. This keeps me focused on the current week, present in what we are doing, and peaceful about the work for THIS moment in time, rather than all of the moments to come. Also, procedure lists for term lesson planning, daily reset of our room and materials, weekly reset, etc. I learned that from you. ;)

Don't have time to watch your video at the moment, but I wanted to say that your hair looks great! It always does, as a straight-haired girl I LOVE, LOVE your curls. This look is great for you too!

I don't use a physical homeschool planner but instead use OneNote to file my pages. I have schedules, weekly level, block level and annual. Next I like to keep the records of our completed weekly planner pages broken down by block. Then I have my goals for the year that have been submitted to the authority in my country. Then I have tabs for each subject for inspirational ideas and resources. And finally I have a tab for notes and ideas from blogs and talks like yours.

I have tried the One Note/Evernote thing before and always go back to physical. It sounds great.

Pam Barnhill You have obviously not seen my desk. There have been moments of absolute panic here when I have just finished planning out great things on paper. Then I have put it down. And it is gone... forever... into the black hole of my desk. Paper is so thin and it loves to hide. Lesson learned. Everything is scanned if it was done on paper immediately and “filed” in one note instead of being piled on my desk. So much less stress!

I keep most of the same things in mine, except I keep my Declaration of Intent on my Google Drive and our attendance roster is on our bulletin board. In addition to what you listed, I also keep our lesson lists in my binder. When I write new lists in the spiral notebooks each afternoon, all the kids’ lists are in one place so it helps that process go quickly.

I keep many of these as well as blank checklists to fill out weekly for my year 1 & 3 kiddos. All I need to do is fill in my weekly AO readings & the week is ready. The high schooler handles her own.

Health/ immunizations and dental records are required in our state. I keep the state common core standards for each subject. I don’t follow them step by step but it gives me an idea about what to expect on standardized tests based on the kids grades. Usually my kids are one or two grades ahead of what they are tested for. Thank you for another great video.

Pam, make a video how to occupy kids after homeschool. Everyone is telling about the baskets but none has shown how to spend the rest of the day.

Pam, where do you keep your actual plans? In a different binder orcsane one. I’m thinking like your book lists, pages for math, daily assignments etc?
