Just got back from a post xmas fishing trip and the sheepshead usually always got a good bite then. Definitely a good winter fish to fish for in winter.

When I was stationed in Texas back in 99-01, the best fishing was in the winter. I lived for the bull redfish run o caught absolute monsters.

I need to go south with the birds. 25-45 degrees here, wind chill makes it lower and our boy is out here on an almost empty jetty smoking fish

3:13 if he was stealing your bait he probably didnt fight hard cause he was full. Same thing happened to me deep sea fishing. A king was stealing my buddies bait, he missed it like 5 times. So i gave it a go and that king didnt put up much of a fight 😂

Not comparing, but I saw you run your hook thru the shrimps tail end. I find it better to run my hook under and up through the top of the shrimps head. You should get less “bait crooks” that way.
