I don't care what the topic is... Olive, polyester, big hair, thrifting, I keep coming back to your channel especially if I'm going through hard times. You don't know how much you might be helping others just by being a bright light for the people who are living in darkness right now. Katie, Corie, Austin thank you so much for your great content! Your story about the Subaru restricted to the 'one road' reminds me of an OLD joke... A cop notices a little boy going around the block over and over- Finally, he stops the lad and asks why he is repeatedly going around the block!? The little boy answers that he's running away from home, but his Mom won't allow him to cross the street. :)

Love thrift stores. Love the video. Corey's smiles make you feel like all will be well despite the crazy world outside. Katie's smiles and gigles reminds you to find joy and play in every moment (love the up-do hair with the sun glasses, by the way -- super chique). Austin's got that manly, but kindly calm that lets you feel like someones quietly on your side. Thank you, guys! So fun to hang out with you three. The "giant coasters" look like trivets (put them on the table to go under hot dishes). Corie and Katie, you have the same sorts of tastes my daughter-type-person has. You'd love to go thrifting with each other, I think. :)

I am 69 this year but ask anyone old and they are not that old in their head except for 2 seconds ago they forgot. Enjoy everything you can while young. The old body wears out. Although my Aunt will be 98 in May. Love you all

Hi Ladies! I was so happy to see that book by Lisa Tawn Bergren! She does children's books, too! When our daughter was born (she's 18 now!) a friend of ours gave us Ms. Bergren's book, "God Gave Us You." We still have it. It's such a wonderful loving look at how amazing a gift a child is to a couple; and how wonderful the Lord is to create and give that child! I so very much enjoy you ladies and of course, now with Austin, too. He reminds me so much of images I've seen in movies of The Three Musketeers! He looks like he could be one of those French guards!

I love going thrifting and antique shopping too. Corie mentioned that she loves Texas Ware bowls. It made me laugh because every time I see Tipper use her Texas Ware bowl, I say “ I want that bowl” lol. I love hers so much that I had to buy two of them. Lol.

This reminds me of going to town with my mom and grandma when I was young. The first town was 10 miles away and it had nothing. So we should go to the town after that, another 30 miles to go shopping. My grandma was always down for anything. Fast food, restaurant, whatever. Thanks for taking us along. Smile.

your channel popped up , cuz I like guns , hunting , sasquatch etc. Anyway I bought an old Hardware store in Ohio, in 99, and opened an Antique Shop and Carry Out. Jimmy O's Antiques & Carry Out Tiro, Ohio and did that a few years , while raising my daughter Maggie , born Oct. 99. I started out collecting cast iron cookware, pottery n glass ware, silver coins, knives, and Ruger revolvers.

I love Blairsville. My husband and I spent a weekend there years ago and we loved visiting Alexander's too. I think that's the town that has the Green Bean festival too. Love thrifting!

Not just "any" two women, but twins at that. 😂 And one (at that time) was his future wife and the other his wife's twin sister, His future sister - in - law 😂😂😂 love it!!! I grew up with a set of twins. My sister had a set of twins boys, they are the oldest of the grandsons. (my nephews) Anyway they were a hoot to grow up with. They were only 5 years my Junior, I tell ya ... They were rambunctious and still can be 😂

One of my favorite things to do is go thrifting, and a small town is the greatest place to go, and the people you get to meet is awesome. The local people are very friendly, and a treasure to chat with.

I think those gloves are a WWII pattern called "marksmen gloves" made so you could still shoot with gloves on.

Almost 20 years ago my husband and I got married at the courthouse and walked to Longhorn Steakhouse and ate burgers for lunch. We don't have Longhorn here anymore, not near us at least.

Have ya'll ever tried The Cookie Jar in Blairsville?? They have a great buffet! Hope it survived the lockdown. We did wear those kind of jumpers in the 80's. Worse thing about them was that if you wore one out...you had to almost strip naked just to use the bathroom..lol!

My husband and I were watching your mama cooking breakfast and he mentioned she had a Texasware bowl. My grandma had one when I was a kid(she only had 3 bowls I think, a Texasware, clear Pyrex for beans to go on the table, and a small stainless bowl for beating up eggs. When she passed, my mama got the Tware. Bowl and then found one for my sister and me. Not an expensive bowl, but priceless because of the memories made in her kitchen.

Always fun to go to thrift stores & go “antiquing”. You never know what you’ll find, but you’ll always find memories when you see certain items. Your chicken platter was a good find, & now you can start a new tradition in your new family with Austin & start to make memories. A platter can serve double duty as a pretty display & usable when needed. Fun day!!!🚘

I could spend DAYS at thrift and antique stores buying cool stuff. Mostly looking for decorative, fired clay planters to put bonsai trees in, most of the time I have to modify the bottoms to anchor the tree. Once in a while I can pick up an entire crate full of them for a few dollars. Any-hoo, thanks for sharing. P.S. ... Katie looks great in anything......just sayin'.

Katie, dear...Why don't you buy yourself a suitable apron for your work? You would protect your pretty clothes that way. I love the paintings you all were looking at...really pretty. I have a wooden box like that. My father bought it for me when I was around ten years old..64 years ago. It had candy in it. As I was growing up, I stored my treasures in it, then later on, love letters. :) Now I have my make up in it. I love shopping like you do. Used to do that frequently when I could still get out and about. Thanks for taking us along for the trip.

@@thepressleygirls Sometimes we don't always think of the obvious solution..I know I don't. After I saw this video, I watched the one your mom's video about interviewing your sister. I saw a quick photo of your sister wearing an apron..then I wonder why she said what she said about her clothes getting messed up while she worked. You girls cut up a lot, so it's hard to know when you all are just fooling around. Thanks for clarifying that 🤗.

Had fun watching this vid. We've always loved thrift stores and flea markets. It's sort of like a scavenger hunt. Have found alot of nice decor and clothes over the years. Lol, I'm 71 yrs old and it's kinda a hobby for me, plus I can't see paying full price for clothes that you can find at a thrift.

Fun video, those mittens you got for your dad are trigger finger liners. I have a pair with the leather shells. I was issued them when I was stationed in Fairbanks, AK. I had to buy a pair to keep for deer hunting. God Bless.

Makes me remember a time our twins were backing out of our driveway and whichever one was driving clipped a corner of the house..a small mark...when my husband came home (this is a man who wouldn't notice so many things) he noticed the mark right away! He wasn't angry...just told the girls to be more careful.

Anytime you want to know if pants will fit. Button up the waistband throw them over your back and pull the waistband around your neck if the waistband meets the pants will fit.

My sister and I used to go shopping like that. Brought back memories. I have a little rocking chair like the one in the antique story. They fold up are based on Victorian chairs. I think the tile are trivets for hot plates, etc. I have a tile one that was my grandmother's. Thank you!

I have favorites that I like to wear often. It's hard to find clothes that are comfortable and makes you "feel" good. When I do, yes, I wear them the most, even if they are old.

Someone's probably already relied this, but the 4 ceramic things are trivets for putting hot dishes on. They won't crack. I have one now, and used to have one with a metal frame around it!

Austin is such a gentleman for opening your door Corey. I use to thrift and do yard or estate sales all the time. I always had a specific thing I would look for when I went, mainly because I use to teach preschool and I’d look for books, decorations for my bulletin boards or games for my kids to play. I have found a coat or two for myself when I’ve thrifted. I’m hoping when the weather clears to go thrifting for some flower pots. Y’all found a lot of nice things shopping and thrifting. The chicken plate was very pretty Corey. Katie, that red shirt looked so pretty on you, red is your color lady. I liked the jumper you got too, it looks really comfy. Great video, thanks for sharing!

I loved this video I would love to see you three do more of these I enjoy looking at old things and I can't get out to do it anymore so I get to do it through you all . I thought the chicken platter was so gorgeous I'm glad you got it and the painting or picture that was so pretty . I’m a major thrifter and LOVED this whole video! There’s nothing like a day of thrifting with snacks & a meal :). Looks like Austin got danged near a new wardrobe. Ok, those trivets, or giant coasters or whatever they are would find a place on my backsplash behind my counter that I meal prep on so I could look at them often and keep them safe and pretty :). All the books…yay!

Love thrifting and antiquing,pretty cool places around here in Denver.They have a long row on Broadway street here where it's basically called "antique row" they had a whole old timey bar in one of the stores for 50,000$😲

The problem with buck trophies is the best most majestic deer can no longer reproduce ,that’s why I enjoy wildlife photography , it’s a challenge just like hunting and you can have a great 16x20 photo on the wall!

I really enjoy Bill Bryson's style of writing. An American in the U K. that has a talent for losing his way. Guess that's why I enjoy watching Lawrence Brown on Lost-in-the-Pond KZfaq. My favorite subject in school was Geography, one not much taught these days. My late husband never had it...he thot that Washington DC was on the west coast!

I hope you guys know that Longhorn glues their steak and they boil them and keep them in the vaccumed bags using sous vide method. That helps the cheap quality steaks taste ok to be sold at that price.

Lol it's slick here also fell the other night had went to check on the baby goats and bam 😅 landed on back and shoulder. It's funny now I had our little dog with me on a leash. I was laying there and she came stuck her nose under mine lol to see if still alive. We like going to thrift stores. Our house is a house of many families lol. Memories of the red polyester pantsuit my dad got me for my birthday in the seventies! 😂 When you tried on the red blouse 😂 although I like some polyester, I wasn't fond of the whole pantsuit 😂

Hey girls, I loved this Video! I am 70 and I don't get out much. It was a joy to see the thrift stores, it kinda makes me feel like I am enjoying it with you. Wow. Austin scored a deal with his items, I loved the boots and the shirts were nice too. God bless you all😊

P.S.S., I think Austin was holding teapot “coasters”, looks the perfect size for a teapot. That’s my forensic analysis guess :-)
